Ok first off i havent seen the truck do this, it is a friends truck and he was asking me about it. I figured i would ask yall cause theres guys on here that know way more than me.

A friend of mine has a 2010 taco and he said that if he gets in a field doing donuts or going up muddy hill in 2wd that once the truck starts spinning it goes to a idle and wont accelerate. My 06 taco does not do this, didnt know if it was a safe mode that they have came out with. Anyone know anything it could be? any help is appreciated. thanks

My 09 did that once when I got stuck, I think it a safety thing or something.

Yea its a safety thing, Tell your friend to look for the VSC button the one that has the little truck with curvy roads and hold that down for 5 to 10 seconds it should turn off, then he could do some good donuts
