Do you guys have issues with this? My kids can't see anything and it's very annoying, tried all Heat settings and don't matter.

    Any advice?
Crappy pic but you can see what I mean.
    Thanks fellas!

Does it happen to all the windows? I detail cars and there are products that can reduce the frost build up on the windows, though its basically impossible to prevent it. Rain-x is a good chemical to start with since most people have it

does this happen to the inside or outside of the window?

Inside, and all 3 back windows and it almost goes to driver side and pass. Front windshield gets a little but if I put my heater to floor only I'm sure it would freeze as well.

The light and seal was replaced by dealer. I haven't noticed any water going in.

thats not a good sign. Could be a sign of an air leak, possibly from the 3rd brake light (the light above the rear outside window).

I have this issue. No water intrusion. Just crappy air movement I think.

Tell your kids to stop with the heavy breathing.
    -
Seriously, try opening your side windows about 1/2". Make sure the dash vents are directed towards each side window. Run your windshield defroster and set the heater mode to Floor AND Upper.
    -
Your kids will complain about the slight breeze, but I'd bet it'll make a difference.
There's just too much moisture vapor accumulating in the back.

I don't know if this is the problem but make sure the recirc is off on your climate controls.

When temps are 0* or below nobody is cracking down a window. I never had this issue on any other vehicle.

    At least try it.
I've had the issue on several vehicles BEFORE there were rear window defrosters. It works. Sometimes being able to see is MUCH more important than creature comfort.

Done it plenty of times, including today. 0° isn't that cold and it's just a little crack to keep air moving, similar to keeping a window unzipped in a camping tent to minimize condensation inside.

How much snow are they tracking in? My kids always fill the rear floor mats with snow, that then melts and evaporates. I keep towels on the floor mats to soak up the water and then remove them after each trip. Its a pain, but it gets the job done.

^this so much. also, defrost windshield button only does windshield and feet. If you didn't know the defrost button turns on AC. pro tip is to turn on regular AC with regular vents and aim the side vents along the windows to dehumidify cabin a tad bit quicker.

How many vehicles have you owned that DIDN'T have rear window defrosters AND kids in the back?

    ^-- Exactly.

    This!
You must find the source, of what appears to be excessive, interior moisture. Since it's so cold out, the interior heat can't overcome.

Depending on the weather conditions, mine will do the same. I don’t have any leaks, checked several times. I’ve seen this complaint several times about Tacoma’s. No idea why it’s so bad with these trucks.

Move south or get the kids to stop breathing or put an anti fog coating on the windows that is made for eye glasses.
