All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
I am from Macon ;) went HS there

Thank Macon for the Allman Bros...

Got my kid the Winchester wildcat 22... Looking around for some cheap optics to go have fun with at the range for the next couple years til his mama let's him shoot it. Too expensive and crazy these days to keep dumping 9/45 at the range. Anyone got anything laying around or that they are about to upgrade/replace? Maybe a cheap Bipod? Pic rail. let me know thanks!

I got all kinds of shit piled in boxes. I will take a look for you. I have a full BCM pic rail I will sell you for cheap, as far as optics, I may have a cheaper red dot as well.

It actually comes with a pic rail... That's what I meant looking for pic rail compatible optics but thank you appreciate it. Also I got my seat spacers in... They are nice and I'm glad I went with the Desert guys its a good design and it's clearly not the same exactly as just a cylinder spacer.

Yup, the spacers have changed the way my taco feels for sure. Created more of a bucket seat slant, which supports my thigh, which in turn stops the pain.

Nothing can replace Smart Wool base and mid layering system, along with a vest under, a gamma SV layer and finally I just put on my rain shell.
I have rocked out in single digits sweating my balls off for over a week.

Got to make sure the material will wick your sweat or you will die from hypothermia.

So I pulled the trigger and ordered some 255/75 r17 Yokohama Geolandar AT G015

    https://www.discounttire.com/buy-tires/yokohama-geolandar-a-t-g015/p/27630

They are slightly taller than the 265/70s I have currently and I believe they weigh less as they are one of the lighter tires that I looked at. They have the severe snow rating, so hopefully they are good in most situations. I don't have the super broverlander look that we all love, but I'm trying to tell myself that isn't a big deal. These should be quieter on the highway, which is where I do 95%+ of my driving.

I was really wanting to go up to a 33 be it a 285 or 255 but I really couldn't justify it. The weight, the cost, the life of the tires would all be negatives when compared 265 75 16. Sure they don't look as good and give a tiny less ground clearance but when it comes to the majority of the miles on the truck are highway it seems like the best decision.

yeah... I think these are a true 32" tire...I think I'm gaining about a quarter inch of ground clearance (half inch increase in overall diameter) and I *shouldn't* get any rub. I'm hoping that the non-aggressive tread pattern is quiet on the highway but that it is still aggressive enough to pull me through where I need/want to go.

Did you see I got a new to me truck? It has a camper shell so I wont be putting those bed bars to use for now. I thought they may fit with it and I could make a 2nd shelf type storage now to make up for a shorter bed. But I haven't messed with it yet.
