Welcome to the club (?). I am in Ballwin area.

I just finished my 3rd taco lift last friday - a 2.5" OME on my cousins 2000 tacoma. I have missed the past two local events but I hav good intentions on making the next one. :)

I have taken my tacoma to SMORR twice on TLCA events. It is a great place to try out the tacoma from mild to wild off road.

Hey all, my Tacoma is a week and a half old! :D I'm in the Edwardsville Area on da EAST SIIIIIIIDDEE!

4 day old truck took a slide on the ice covered drive into my barn Thursday! Passenger side front bumper around the fog got some tan paint transferred on it...the barn took th worst of the beating. Took some Meguiars to it and it looks almost new...whew!

Taco looks good on that lift and the 1 inch in front certainly levels it out nicely. Great job. We definitely need to make sure you join us for the next meet.

Mods? Heck ya! I just have to push aside a few other hobbies and store up funds.

Right now I've only perused the forum a bit, but I know I want anytime Fogs. A tonnou of some sort...side steps, bull bar or something in the fron with add on fogs.

I have yet to try and get my 95 Kodiak in the back of the Taco...but it looks like it'll fit...gulp.

Yep I installed a diff drop. I don't know why there is so much angle. I got less than 3" of lift, really about 2.75". With the 881's and the Billies at 1" (middle setting)

if you want a cheap soft tonneau I'd let go of mine, it's a little beat up but cleans up pretty nicely

HA! That was me. We were parked right next to each other.

On another note I have cab length nfab steps in black I'm looking to get rid of. They just need a little sanding and paint or a new powdercoat. Id cut you a deal on them if you were interested. They bolt right on. Look at n-fab.com or check my profile pics. I'd sell for $150. I paid $450 shipped. They would need a little work.

Small world! that truck was a day old for me that day. LOL!

Cab length? I'll check out the site. BTW, where is a good place locally for powdercoat? I think I want to get the wheels powder coated flat black!

Okay so I put new cv axles in, now if I make a right hand turn with any speed, I hear a popping noise. I assume it is the knuckles in the CV axle popping. Any thoughts? Oh and I do have a 1" diff drop installed.

Here is what I put in: OME 881 coils with Bilstein 5100's set at the middle setting. Should have given me close to 3" of lift from what I was told. OME 881 should have given me 1.75 to 2" and middle setting gives me 1". My passenger side is 3/4" higher than the drivers side.

One thought is to bring down the passenger side on the lowest setting and add a 1/4" spacer to level it. I don't know of anyone who has ever ran the 5100's at two different levels, so does anyone see any problem with that?

    Here are the pictures.
