Everything isn't always listed on their site. 295's aren't exactly a super common size.

Discount was advertising them at $238 (I think), and my local shop was able to almost match for me. I think he wound up at $242, actually.

I guess I need to put more effort into tire shopping. Either way, I'm super happy with them

From what I've seen and read, they're a great value compared to some other MT's. I'm looking forward to finding out for myself over the next few months. :)

I disagree. I’ve got over 10K miles on my 235/85’s and have had no issues at all in the rain. I do have weight in the back which may help (RTT and steel bumper with tire carrier) but not the slightest bit of slip thus far

Its been a bit since i compared but when i looked they were much cheaper than the KM3s or STT Pros, Trail grapplers etc. and from a weight standpoint they were significantly lighter than the other MTs

Edit: - much cheaper than the KM3s or Toyo MTs, but it looks like KM3s are actually about 5 poounds lighter in 285/75/17 size

    @Discount Tire
    Thanks for the price match.
Smooth and incredibly quiet. I’ve had trail grapplers, open country MTs, ST/maxxs, and wildpeaks AT3/Ws

They are really narrow for that size which is a selling point to me.

Me too, I love how skinny tires look on 1st gens. I have them in a 255/85r16. They look slightly skinnier and much taller than the Cooper ST Maxx 235/85r16's I had before.

Do anyone have winter weather experience with these tires? How do they do on snow covered roads?

315/75/16. About 4K miles so far, still relatively quiet for a MT. They are great Offroad, going to rotate them soon

Interested in these tires in 285/75/17. I have a 3rd Gen with 285/70 General Grabbers and I’ve been happy with them so far. Interested in these because they seem to have great reviews, I like the look, known for quiet on road, and I wanna go up to that 34in ball park with 285/75.

    Main concerns:

how do they perform in snow? I saw one guy on here had a bad experience but it doesn’t seem to be the norm. I live in WV where it snows every winter and we have lots of mountains to go up and over on a daily basis.

Anybody have this size on a 3rd Gen? I’m thinking they fit with no issues since I have 285/70s right now with no problem and the 285/75s are just taller not wider. I have a lift and a CMC, but stock UCA’s. Just curious on fitment. Wheels Im running are TRD Pro 17s. Not sure on the offset.

They have been good in fresh snow, but I wouldn't recommend a mud tire for winter. Deep snow seems good, but I consistently hear they're no good on packed snow or ice. They don't have enough siping.

I have 285/70/17's on Pro 17"s, 2" up in front with JBA UCA's. I have slight rub at full lock at the rear of the fender and a smidge on the UCA's. No trimming / chopping yet. In the snow, they aren't horrible but not great either. It's an MT. I just drove to work with snowy / slushy conditions in 4x4 and I wasn't concerned and didn't slide around a lot with light throttle. 2 wheel drive was a little sketchy. Braking was as expected (pump them babies). Every other condition they are damn good.

How are the ADS shocks working for you? Any long term issues? I just put front & rears on a couple of months ago and I'm in love with them. Nice looking truck man

I have a few thousand miles on mine so far and all of those miles have been on snow, ice, or rain.
here are my impressions in regards to winter driving on pavement
(So far*) these are the best aggressive tire I’ve had for winter driving. Of all the tires I’ve ran, this is how I’d rank them for daily driving in the winter
    1. Cooper ST maxx
    2. Dick cepek trail country exp
    3. Yokohama geolander mt g003
    4. Cooper discoverer at3
    5. Falken wildpeak at3w
    6. Firestone destination AT
    7. Nitto trail grappler
    8. Toyo open country MT

I drove to work this morning in an ice storm ( in 2wd, with 210lbs of tubed sand in the bed)
Zero issues. Accelerating for a stop cab get loose easily but braking and handling are very good.
I drove to 70 miles south in the middle of a snowstorm to visit @JDUB-Fabrication and has zero issues.
If you drive with the awareness that you are on mud terrains, they will exceed your expectations.
However, as with every tire, Time will tell as they wear

FYI: that is all ice, not salt on my truck and the ground this morning

yeah I mean I know they’re not gonna be great in wintery conditions, I’ve had MT’s a lot. As long as they aren’t complete junk, I can compensate for lack of siping with a little 4x4 or rear locker if I have to. My Generals are same boat. I mean they’re not meant for snow and ice, but they’re manageable. That’s all I’m looking for out of these.

As far as the rubbing, I have no issues. The CMC and removing of the factory flaps solved 99.9% of issues. I may rub occasionally in extreme flex situations, but overall pretty good.

Yeah I have MT’s currently and have had a variety of sets so I know they’re not ideal for winter. As long as they’re not absolute junk I can manage it.
