you shouldn't need to remove the snap ring to measure the bore just stick some calipers in the bore right by the snap ring. but if you give kartek a call they probably have what you need and can get you sorted, they've been super helpful on the phone for me.

Low rider. Seeing about bump heights for the rear. Frame is currently 12” from the ground. Front doesn’t bump out as much as I want but in the future I’ll redo the whole front end anyway. Right now I’d like to get more up travel out of the rear

Cutting the back of the cab - looks like you've got some of it notched out?

Not that crazy lol but there will be plenty of bead rolled panels going on it. This will be fully bumped. Frame 8” off the ground in the rear and then 10” on the front

lol they did that to keep the firewall being moved up in one slab. Shocks are out of the cab.

Yea but they are still tucked inside past the c pillar is what I mean. Tubbed it out looks good but I wouldn’t wanna service that coilover. Keeping them out behind the cab is easier to get around everything IMO. That trucks gonna be sweet when it’s done.

Gotcha - yeah it really matters on shock angle and where the shocks end up - he showed you can get in there with a wrench, but it was out of necessity.

Because I have the money now and I’m not the one doing the work on it in a carport anymore haha before it was budget and just getting it going but now I’m not gonna be an idiot like before and do it right the 6th time around hahaha but for real now we’re going through everything and making it all right and how it should have been. Gonna squeeze a little more out of the front and cycle it cleaner, these towers I have now are limiting it so we can get a better angle and also to clear the headers without the towers and to run mounts of the top of the engine cage instead.

BTF is nice stuff, lots of Ford a arm guys running them - check out @btffabrication on instagram - here's a 2nd gen with their kit.

Haven't seen any 3rd gens though.

This seems W I D E but the coilovers don't really seem much wider than a +2 kit -- I know you'll get more travel just from having a longer control arm radius/arc, but wouldn't you want the shocks wider so they're cycling closer to 1:1?

I'm no expert, just trying to learn.
