Yup! Can’t compare it to anything but the M18 Fuel high torque 1/2” impact.. but this is really nice, and not as much of a fat pig of a tool as the high torque gun. Those are heavy SOBs!

Yeah the high torque ones are very heavy but damn if they arent powerful, I primarily use mine for large fasteners like axle nuts & crankshaft bolts.
I will wait till the new impact wrench goes on sale. Still need to buy a pneumatic snap on or mac impact wrench, expensive but worth the $500.

You can find the MG725 1/2" slightly used on e bay often low as $200.

Can you guys take some measurements of your various socket trays? Trying to reorganize my top drawer and am finding mine pretty limiting.

Drawer is 22” deep, hoping someone has some good options in the 20-21” range that don’t break the bank.

Mine is 19.5” deep and I used the tekton organizers. Two 3 row and two 2 row ones.

Thinking about trying to run them front to rear, not horizontally across the drawer.

I love my Hansen Trays. The 1/2 trays are 18" I think.

The hansen trays are nice but I wouldn’t want to be bound by a set number of sockets. If the tray goes from 8-19mm, and I have 6-22 mm, I’m in a jam and will have stragglers. Likewise if I have only 10-18 mm sockets, I have blank space on the trays and it’s a waste of space.

I really like the tekton style trays since the sockets clip into them, you can arrange them how you like and can add/remove socket holders.

The good news is they have more pegs than most socket sets have sockets, and Lowes sells singles. So I filled them with my socket set ones, then went and bought the dozen or so missing ones.

I had Hansen’s before, had issues with the posts on the 1/4” trays being too large for some of my Craftsman sockets, so I gave them away. Would prefer to be able to see the size of the sockets on the rail which the Hansen’s didn’t allow for those sockets. Otherwise were great.

The HF trays I use now fit on the SAE side, but the metric 1/2” tray is probably 1/2”-3/4” too long for the drawer and is probably 2” longer than the 1/2” SAE tray is.

Hansen trays are that way too. Went to orient them vertically to fit an absurdly long torque wrench and learned the hard way.

Still setting it all up and loving it. The trays work perfectly for me.

That's why I ultimately decided on the tekton. I can customize it so I don't have any extra spaces. Plus I can label them, twist and lock so the sockets stay put, and there's teeth on the rails so the clips don't slide side to side. They're pretty well thought out.

Ernst Socket Boss. The trays for the 18" rails are 19.8" long. I run them front to back in the drawer. Super customizable. Summit Racing has most of the components and are the cheapest I have found, about $9 under list on the 3 rail Socket Boss. https://www.ernstmfg.com/ I'll have to post a pic of my socket drawer.

Here it is, someone's grandpa's bench I found in the local classifieds for $100. 8ft wide and like 400 lbs.
I made bins for the cubby slots. Any suggestions on storage for a bunch of cordless Makita tools in one of those larger areas under the bench?
