Wednesday ... Moving on... Slowly ... 64* Raining .. At least when I took the dogs out this morning I didn't have to put on every piece of clothing I own to keep from FREEZING out there...

Safe day out there, try to stay warm and dry..

Baking is a way to this mans heart!! Thank you very much for the suggestions. Blueberry muffins were made yesterday afternoon. Extra fresh blueberries added. Mmm good!! Got really lucky though power off shortly after the goodness from the oven. Power off every hour or so for about an hour at a time. I have heat though.

Busted pipe as of 6pm last night. Get the ice and snow cleared from deck and I hear what I think is running water. Sure enough. Gushing water actually. Under the house and nearest to hot water heater intake line. I think.

My supposed energy power house state of texas has failed many. Believe this fiasco has woke a sleeping giant. Especially in my rural community.

    Y’all stay safe out there.

Ketchup has its place, just NEVER on a hot dog!

    Hey, I resemble that remark...o_O

Liked for the blueberry muffins, not the busted water pipe. All the best to you as you deal with this situation.

you should see my taco. living in farm country and sloppy wet means mud in the road from feeding cattle. and our lane is gravel so all that gets on it.

They use cinders and ash (basically coal) on my tar and chipped road. Not only does it make for a dirty taco but my poor little morkie's paws get downright black when she takes her walk.

Spring and fall my taco gets its share of manure on it. Now its road salt/brine slop. Most wash places are closed. Today with warmer temps they will open. But with warmer temp the roads will start to get better. Which means more slop. I haven't seen the black top on our road in 2 weeks.

Thank you sir. I’d just like to be able to flush the toilet. Get’n kind funky in here.

Leaning on my camping gear and water storage to keep things going.

And I apologize for not starting out with a Good morning TW. Y’all stay safe and warm out there. Sunny and highs in the 40s by Friday down here.
