I know why they make that, but I can't say I've personally ever wished for a lighter hammer.

Yeah, snow's not great for bikes.... But.. Snow totals in the mountains are reaching 60" in four days in Utah. Sorry for the shitty pic, but no one wants to stop and take photos when it's this good out.

The early bird gets the worm! I got there just as the lifts started spinning and they got about 5-7 more inches than forecasted. It also helped that their Epic app is an epic POS and everyone thought the T-bar and lifts for peak 6 were open.

I'm not too familiar with the area. I've been over there a handful of times to visit friends but we just went to small local restaurants.

When I went to Ft. Lauderdale / Miami we just walked around and explored for a day and a half bc we got there early for our cruise..
I wouldn't say anything took my breath away about the place, but I'm not a drinker/partier and I get bored laying on the beach.

May be worth seeing if they have a city pass like Atlanta does for it's attractions.

Driving the bridge to Key West may be worth renting a car for.

oh shoot, didn't realize how far it was. We went from the Port to Key West before going to Havana.

We went like a week before the travel bans there were put into place.

I'm super jealous you got to go visit Cuba. Without thinking it through, I had a ticket booked and everything. Told HR to get the time off, and was reminded that that was under no circumstances going to happen due to the fact I worked for a 3 letter agency at the time. :( Prob for the best, because I've heard Cuban jail isn't super fun.

Yeah beach isn't for me but warm weather will be nice. Probably going to explore and booze for the weekend. Wasn't sure if there is a bar district or something

That was back in May 2019 or so, back when the world was normal.

It's a cool place for sure, and you can tell that it was the place to be back in the day. Lots of great architecture.
I don't really plan or care to go back though, I didn't like feeling like royalty for a few dollars on the streets lol.

I think it's cool all of the stray animals are marked and taken care of, I think it's a crime to mistreat the strays. Given I'm loosely guessing hard to remember exactly.
