This weekend I headed South for my final semester of college (hence the surfboard on the rack) and decided to make a trip of it going down 395.

Stopped by Alabama Hills:

Met up with an old friend and quickly hit dirt:


We couldn't do anything crazy because of my buddies truck, its 2WD and, well, its a Ford

Dude, I was there! I was camped just on the other side of that rocky hill north of the wash, and was standing on top of it photographing the sunset when I saw a 3rd gen drive by. Maybe that was you? Small world.
