BD has indicated to me that they just started wading through them on the 11th of this month, and apparently there’s a TON yet to get through. As long as you followed my instructions during the GB week you should be gravy. They’re coming, but quite slow.

Just thought I’d update with the best info I have anyway :)

Got mine yesterday. Nice big check that felt terrific, until it reminded me how much $$ I spent in the first place!

Anyone know what kind of wiring harness I would need in order to run 5 lP6’s to a switch-pro? These 5 will live on my roof.
I was thinking of daisy chaining all them with 5 of the baja designs LP-Series Controller Module Harness. Thoughts?

5 of them will pull 37.5a...the SP cannot handle that, it's limited to 35a on slots 4-8

also, why would you put them on the roof, other than you saw it on YT or IG and thought it looked cool?

they are designed to be mounted in the front of the vehicle due to the spread of light.

Every time I see a truck with these on their roof I know it's mainly for looks/clout or maybe they just don't know any better.

Wait... So I can't run 7 LP9s on my roof? This is bullshit.

@Baja Designs Is the throw / pattern on your IR models comparable to that on the visible spectrum Pros? Doesn't list a zone like the visible SKUs.

*Yes, I know they're "inviible" to the naked eye.

Patterning will be similar in that they use the same reflector design. That said, it is very much an apples to watermelons comparison.

If you want some detailed info on this, I can connect you with our military rep/sales manager. A lot of the outcomes of using our IR lights are dependent on the optics you are using and I've only been out on a small handful of outings with our IR products. For the most part, you'll see a more centralized, slightly tighter pattern beam with these illuminators versus our white light stuff. But in my limited experience, the distance drops off a bit quicker than a white light Squadron Pro, particularly on a darker night with less ambient light.

If you have more questions, let me know via PM and I'll connect you with a specialist.
