I'm pretty sure I had those parts leftover as well. Truck or shocks haven't exploded yet so I'm inclined to believe they aren't needed for our trucks. If I recall, the bolts were too big for the washers and tall to hold the shock in the mount.

Hello guys, off topic but I just bought fox 2.0 front coilovers on my 2012 taco. I want to know how the ride quality is in terms of going over potholed roads at 50-65mph. Been thinking maybe a digressive valving would’ve been better...
and all other on road reviews!

There for the 4Runner skid plate brackets (I believe if the 4Runner is equipped with KDSS system) to space the skid plate brackets away from sway bar.

unless you find someone that has used both types of suspension packages on their vehicle for identical ride terrain, all you will get is a guess..

Can't comment on the Fox 2.0 since I've never owned them.

The 2.0 coilover is a non-reservoir IFP shock. Tire rating and shock valving may have a larger role in ride quality over potholes and such, but hard to explain how it will ride compared to stock. If you are looking to invest in a good set of shocks and really concerned about ride quality, I would look at a 2.5 remote reservoir shock. Two very different shocks IMO.

FWIW I looked through a lot of posts and couldn't find what I am looking for...
I am considering either 6112/5160 or Fox 2.0 front and rear. All I am looking to accomplish is to lift the front of the truck to match the stock height of the back while improving ride quality. The only real off-roading I do is some fire roads and camping spots so I don't need all the extra height. Any information is appreciated!

Nah man, I’m gonna go 2.0 I don’t off-road much and I’ve heard 2.5 is actually stiffer on road but of course better in the dirt

I think the time has come to try Fox 2.0 rears.
I have a rattle/clunk in the rear of my truck. Nothing seems loose but now it reminds me my first set of Bilsteins made that noise as well. I have less than 10k miles and less than a year on my current rears, which I now suspect are blown as well.

    What i have now:
    Bilstein / RCD F4-BE5-B110-T5 Specifications:
    Extended Length: 27.28" Inches
    Compressed Length: 16.34" Inches
    Travel: 10.94 Inches

    Going to:
    Extended Length: 24.65 inches
    Collapsed Length: 15.55 inches
    Travel: 9.1 inches

Will be taking the rear shocks out next week to confirm thats the problem but if i do go with the Fox, I hope they last longer.

Have you ever checked to see if you are bottoming on the rear shock when fully compressed instead of the bump stops due to the longer 16.34" compressed length?

Yeah its not bottoming out the shock i have super bumps F+R as well. I've wheeled it twice at most during the time I've had them on.

What type of springs etc.. are you using with the failed rear shocks? Got a picture of the rear set up?

here is the stock rear shock configuration Fox Life!!! Anything Related to Fox Suspension

and up travel which can be limited be compressed length resulting from longer travel and/or longer length.
