That's exactly what I needed. Have somebody over there that's asking if it is advisable to get out. She's got no power and was going to go to her daughter's in Plano.

I did a little bit in regular 2wd and while I didnt have any issues outside of occasional tire spin, I just felt way more confident and stable going around turns with the front tires having power as well.

I'm in Stillwater, they have been cutting power but besides that we are good. we did get 4-5 inches last night. My truck drives good in the snow, 4wd and 33” really do help in the snow

Thanks for the report. She's got a front wheel drive Lexus I think, and probably all season tires. And she lives in a hilly area.

Well I now know what it feels to have power. Oh wait not really. Our power came on earlier for about 30-40 minutes and has been off since. We have not had power since early Monday morning and I thought they said rolling power outages. If they turn a switch on and I get power why has it taken so long for these so called rolling outages. Oh well at least I still have a little bit of wood. I am ready for things to get a little bit better.

They're repairing/switching on transmission lines and generators and repairing damaged parts of both. As they do that, power may come on and then either something else fails or the demand exceeds capacity and it shuts down again.
At this point they (power supply and ERCOT) can't make a realistic projection for when things will be back together.

So the friend in Rockwall just got her power back on. They're boiling water and cooking while they have power. They turned the heat on and their interior temp is now 41*.

Nice. Mine never get approved that quickly. I got the email on the 13th saying mine was accepted, but it usually takes a month before it gets approved.
