    well i retract my previous statement about the 20%....

    though my bill was over 1k, and it accepted the 20% code, I realize now the discount I received was only 15%, adding none rci products in effort to pass unlock the 20% does now count....

    oh well... :anonymous::annoyed::smack:

    My new aluminum engine skid is in place. Install went smoothly and I'm really impressed with the product. I have noticed a new squeak when going over bumps. It could be total coincidence, but could it possibly be from the skid? I'm thinking of how the install involved the removal of some stamped steel parts going from the front frame area to the first crossmember. The skid now performs whatever function those were providing in tying together those areas. Maybe I didn't torque it down hard enough? I just went by feel.

    Can't hurt to double-check the hardware after you're driven for a little bit

    I have something similar after installing the same skid on mine when the suspension flexes. I figured I would try to torque the bolts again when I install the transmission skid to see if it helps.

    WOW, skid ordered 2-14, shipped 2-17 and will be here in 2 days! Sliders I will have to wait 7 more weeks—maybe? Now I need a heated garage—once upon I time I did. Carports suck!

    I feel left out... I was among the first few people to order at the beginning of the GB last Monday and still no word on shipping my order. I'm guessing they might not have had any stock of Exhaust Reroute Aluminum Transfer Case Skids before hand. Probably not the most popular item ordered by the group.

    Not complaining or in a huge rush. Just jealous of everyone else already getting their new shiny metal bits!

    Don't feel left out, I haven't heard a word on my sliders and I was probably one of the first 5 with order #40778. All I received as an invoice after placing order. Nothing yet.

    I beat ya! Order #40777! But yeah not worried. Honestly doesn't even matter if it takes a month or two.

    It's more that I'm eager to reroute my exhaust but I want to wait until I have the new skid and crossmember in hand to be sure that it clears everything properly. I've read too many stories on here about people rerouting twice because the new crossmember wasn't accounted for the first time.

    I actually emailed them yesterday for an estimate.... sliders w/ powder and top plates, aluminum transmission skid and aluminum transfer case skid w/ reroute...was told "projected completion is end of April."
