    I grew up in the Galleria/Bellaire area. I think I remember it snowing in 1989, and maybe a few years before that as well. My parents live on the island now and even they got snow. Up here's it's everywhere.

    My brother got stuck out in his 2WD 1st gen Tundra. I wanted him to put better tires on but it never happened. Weight in the bed and some mild all terrains would be perfect. Had to drive my double cab through some brine to go help him out. I try to keep the truck away from salt and brine mix but the project truck isn't ready.

    In general, yes; Now I guess you could say our two states are even... :D

    However, while the North complains about the heat 95° heat in summer, I don't; I'm a car show veteran and I'm used to it. I just keep a bunch of drinks in a cooler in the back of the truck and I'm golden. The only time I do not like heat is when I'm trying to sleep; I like to set the thermostat at 67 in the summer!

    I left my snow blower in Spring City when I moved back home here. Though I'd never have a need for it again. Same with the three broken snow shovels.
