What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

That's the craziest thing I've seen all day. Anyone else notice the door switch panel jammed in between the dash and the door-frame?

 

Yeah those extra switches are for other accessories like acme oil slick, the missile launchers behind to headlights etc.

 

so whats the consensus on that build? i thought it was an engine swap at first... then the third pic. the panels replaced to fit a fleetside Chev?

 

Yes there is an o-ring there! I can get you the part number when I get off, I already bought the o-rings and axle seals, just gotta wait for the weekend to install.

 

It's a custom link that increases travel and progression of the shock. I put one on my scout and I love it. Also everybody I know that rides a sentinel got one and won't go back

I just realized that myself.. and I've looked at this truck a couple of times!

 

The frame, suspension, transmission.. everything but the cab and the box are Tacoma

It's a cab and bed swap, or so it appears.

 

Or they swapped engine and interior, looks more accurate. The engine bay looks cramped even though there was probably a v8 in there. I love how there isn't an airbox and the fuse box is just hanging. just running open intake with I hope a filter in there.

 

Ah yeah its alright for quality, I'll most likely be re painting it come summer. At the time I couldn't see myself spending that much for the other brands out there, and shipping to Canada would hurt the price even more.

 

I’ve seen this picture before, I think you’re probably the guy that directed me to the center caps. My memory is terrible so forgive me off I’m wrong. I’ve thought so hard about what color I want to do the rings, I just don’t know if I want a smokish gray, or bronze. What did you use to paint the ring? It looks great.

 

that was actually an off brand plasti-derp. It came out in terrible oily globs.
It peeled off easy and this summer I plan to use the leftover bbs gold rattle cans (leftover from my Subaru days) for the rings.
