Been busy in the past week,
I made my rear camera work today, got a little finish work to make it perfect, but I came up with a really cool place to put it this morning. Pics to follow.:)

Last weekend I went to the junkyard and found a 2002 extended cab with a couple of good parts left on it. I took the clock and stuck it in my truck.
I was a little disappointed, it is green not red. But, it was a quick install and prewired.

I also grabbed the hazard switch out of that truck, looked up the wiring diagrams and figured out how to set it up to use it on my 12v outlets.
I jumpered out the relay for the two lower outlets, it turned them on permanently, then I wired the ground wire through the contacts in the switch. The switch fits into the cutout next to the two outlets, thus making it easy to turn those two outlets on and off as needed. I ran the upper outlet ground around the switch leaving that to turn off with the ignition switch. Now my scanner works off of the ignition switch, and I can put the plug in the lower outlet if I want to listen without the key in the accessory position, I can also charge my phone with the truck off. :D

Tomorrow, I may have time to complete the cam install, and I have a pair of hood struts to install.

New Tires and an alignment, went to 31X10.5X15 up from 30x9.5x15, the rims have a pattern and the tire guy put them on wrong, so I had to fix that once I got home, also they didn't save my chrome valve stems, I know chrome wont get you home but I was still pissed. The alignment was done buy a good friend of mine for a case of[IMG] beer at his shop. Beer,...it holds it's value better than the dollar. Is there anything beer can't do?
