I grew up in this area, rode dirt bikes, did a lot of hunting and fishing, swam in ponds and quarries, we were surrounded by orchards which most are gone now and are housing developments. Back in the day, Franklin county was Pa's #1 fruit producing county, Adams was second. Was an awesome place to live! Brings back good memories just riding through, instant stress relief! My Dad still lives in the area.

 

looks like 6-9" for my area starting early tomorrow AM. I'm over snow.

That's why it was familiar. Although I haven't been over that way in good long while!

 

I don't want it. We've been spoiled the past couple years with mild winters...
I'm just thankful I winterized the snow blower properly and didn't have too many issues with it.
The throttle cable spring broke but I was able to MacGyver a fix for that. I saw this morning when taking out the trash that I apparently broke the bead on one of the tires so I'll be addressing that this evening.

 

Home depot on camp horn rd has ice melt 40lb bags limit of 8 bags. Just picked up 8 bags.

 

Man, you guys must have gotten hammered with the ice! I was able to pick up a bag of ice melter on my way home form the dealer Monday. They had plenty in stock. This was at a Lowes in North Central Maryland though.

 

We are bringing it in wherever we can. Obviously there is strong demand throughout the country for it.
We'll get as much as possible to stores because whatever we don't sell the vendor will buy back.
This is not the case with shovels & snow blowers so you won't see more of them coming in this season.

 

Yeah, it seems to be one of those things where a store gets a pallet in and within a couple hours it is gone around here.

My current situation:

1 mechanic, one basement guy, running a 700hd/day operation.

I snuck away for a monster and snack.

 

That does not sound sustainable.

 

It is not, in fact.

I used the exact same words to management.

 

I also informed my boss as he was trying to chew me out for a comment I made over the radios that he wants chicken soup and all he's giving me is chicken shit, so it's probably going to leave a bad taste in his mouth. He better eat it, smile, and say thank you.
