you should have seen it mounted to the truck for test fitting, I'm so jealous that @Canoehead is going to be the first one to have one!

@Canoehead did we check that the oil drain hole was in the right place?? I was so concerned with the mounting holes I forgot to check, lol!

if you like prinsu, some guy recently posted the CAD files for a very similar "look-a-like" that's supposedly a really good fit

You have to pardon my ignorance, I know nothing about welding, are the edges scored for folding? It looks like little groves there?

Someone is following closely! That is exactly what the scoring is for.

Like a hawk ;) I got to thinking today..... I was kind of on the fence about a rear tire hitch carrier, but since we have quite the fabricators here, I may try to discuss someone fabbing up or welding together a rear swingout bumper for me in the future, SLIDERS FIRST! But I think I want my 35 on something a bit more..... robust than a hitch carrier

Those swingouts look so cool! Personally I want the weight of the spare more forward, but my son is always asking why we don't have wheel in the back like a Jeep :\

Although they ruin practicality of the bed, I always liked the look of the baja style spare mounts.

I've thought of this too, but my bed is only 5 feet, so I'd completely lose my bed, I wish there was a way I could mount it on the top of my cap and easily slide it down, but I'm no engineer and they do make some pretty sweet swingouts, even some DIY kits that I wouldn't mind trying to bamboozle a couple fellas into welding it together for me
