I agree completely. I’d want someone who deals with off-road stuff and has opened these shocks before

Also been trying to decide - slightly worn 33s that are free -install price or go to 34s that are significantly more expensive than free... Wife’s Jeep got a shout-out by Warn, think they’ll send me a free winch if I ask nicely? Haha :notsure: A731AFC9-0F8C-408A-A672-2C9071FC1360.jpg

Depending on the tire it can be a little bit of a pita to fit. I think ko2 comes in that size but they run small so it’ll be a bit easier. 295/70/17 is another good size that a few of us run/ran. @2016Taco4Me had that size.

I could be wrong, but I think peppermint oil is good for keeping mice and rats away.

    Uuhhhhuuuuuhh!
The "new" 285/70r17...I know selection in that size is somewhat limited, but will be on my list when I come due (~11/32nd tread left on my 285/70r17 Ultraterrains).

The KO2 also comes in a 34/10.50/17 . I had been looking at that exact size a few years ago when they came out, but heard different stories of actual size varying between a mid 32", to a small 33". The down side is, They cost more than a 285/75/17.

Yeah that’s what I meant by ko2s running pretty damn small, like a whole inch smaller at times. It may be a bfg thing in general and not just the ko2 but I don’t know about that.

Rite rite. I'd say a BFG thing myself. I know dang near all tires out there are not true to size. but that 34 was a tire people wanted in a bad way. Then peeps got pissed at how small it actually measured. The only true 34/10.5/17 that I know of is a Swamper LTB. but who the hell want's to run that tire on a DD?

Hadn’t even seen that size before! looks like it would be slightly thicker than the 285/75 which could be a pro or con.
Some guy had 4 ko2s listed on FB marketplace for 800$... it was so temping but I’ve spent enough the past 2 weeks haha.

This makes me wanna go measure the wife’s 35s ... I’ll do it tomorrow and see how far off it is.
