Everything went well, doctor said it didn’t look like cancer but will know for sure when test are done.

She’s doing good, super sore, can only take Tylenol for pain and having to keep ice on her neck.

    Good morning friends!

My boss from the machine shop just text me and said don’t come in cause of the ice. I said um, I wasn’t coming in anyway, I have to take care of my wife, kids, and store :frusty:

Morning all. Another day in paradise here:rofl:here that quite often here.
Glad the wife is doing well. My wife had major back surgery about ten years ago and any pain meds made her feel sick so she just roughed it. In tears the first week and said if she knew it would be like this she wouldn't have had the procedure done. Like bottom 3 disc fused together. She's great now.

My boss always tries to talk me out of coming in when it snows or ices. He lives almost an hour away, I live 14 minutes away. I always go in no matter what. I can’t stand being out of work, I feel guilty :D

I think he promised that welding job to be done and forgot my wife was having surgery. That’s not my problem and I’m not gonna jeopardize her for him. He’ll get over it, I have to live with her :D

Friend of mine text me this morning needing some 5/8” hex shaft. Told him I’d check on it when I got back. He said can I call your boss? Sure. Gave him shop phone number so he won’t bother my boss since he isn’t there today either.

He needs the shaft to fix his discbine so he can mow hay.......in May

I have a friend who famously does not understand when he's being pushy or other basic social cues lol. We used to use my dad's band room at my parents house to practice in and he would ask to call my dad and go over there when I wasn't able to practice. My dad wasn't a fan of that, we had many valuable instruments and amps, etc over there. I ended up having to be super blunt and tell him he could not go over without me.

    That’s crazy.

This guy, I used to do a lot of welding for him years ago. He would call and want me there right then and then he would complain about the price. He finally got the hint and found someone else. He only calls me when he’s out of options now. I was never high priced on him, always tried to be fair. If you met him you’d think he’s broke but he’s a multimillionaire :frusty:
