Good morning fellow Pennsyltuckyvanians!! Woke up to about an inch of snow on the ground already. We're on a seam in the prediction map so somewhere from 4" to 8" for us over the next 30 hours. Guess I should have bought the snow blower this season.

Here we go again. More snow and it’s a day time snow fall event during the week :-/ they piled the shop full of cars last night as I was leaving so the snow crew can clean the lot but it won’t be ready for cleaning till the afternoon..... so I asked what do the techs do with the cars if they show up for work.... nothing like getting a blank stare

 

Can't say "Good" before morning for most folks today because of more snow . So Morning TW PA folks. Stay warm, stay safe and be careful.

 

In Trainer, it just now started sleeting...

 

1 to 2 inches south of Pittsburgh, In Pittsburgh maybe 1 inch but main roads just wet. Be safe everyone, 1 more day then payday Friday!!!

 

We got an inch, at the most. A few flurries blowing. The roads were ok, except for the on and off ramps at 5:30. I'm sure some traffic will help with this.

Morning Pa! Put a leave slip in yesterday for today, working around the house. About an inch and a half here and snowing. Calling for sleet this afternoon. Happy Thursday all!

Wheeee, more snow.
On a better note, the robins, who apparently dgaf about Punxsutawney Phil, arrived yesterday, just in time for the snow. I was a bit surprised to see about 30 or so on the house and in the pin oak.

 

Have about 2.5-3" here on the northside of Pittsburgh, atleast in my neighborhood and still snowing steady. Time to go clear snow off and shovel, again.

Morning all. Drive in wasn't too awful this morning. Wasn't snowing yet at 4:00 this morning when I first woke up but by 5:15 it had started. Secondary roads were poor but I-83 was tolerable. I saw one car on its side in a ditch on a secondary road getting to work. This is coming off a really sharp right hander that's posted for 20mph and is a wicked corner on a good day. Little Honda or something like it. I figure he likely thought he could handle it and slid then once he hit the shoulder it's a pretty nasty ditch/culvert right there. No one injured but going to need a tow truck to get him out.

 

We ain't got shit in South Side, Pittsburgh... maybe an inch, but I think that's being generous.
