I think we have something like 5 big Caterpillar power generators for the UPS at work. They only come on during an outage or when they need to help the town during peak load periods.

It's less Tacoma and more mod
That's $800+ for something that isn't really necessary, stock 63s handle the weight absolutely fine, they come off of 1/2 and 3/4ton trucks already

What do they need one for anyway, they're fat behemoths that don't fit on most any technical trail

He's got the truggy though for all the other stuff, but I don't doubt he would try it in the Tundra if someone dared him to lol

Too many trucks and mods to list.. check builds
Tundras are big. But they have brute force on their side to get places. Plus the auto LSD gimmick kinda works...

I dunno about that, I bet if you asked most people that have e-lockers that don't offroad, they would tell you they've only ever turned it on to see if it worked.

And if it didn't come on instantly, you bet your ass there'd be a thread in the 2nd/3rd gen section with someone saying

"DOES YOUR LOCKER TAKE FOREVER TO ENGAGE OMG TOYOTA SUCKS, OVERLAND LYFE"

Pretty much every one that complains about the toyota e-locker says that, other than the actuator being on the outside and susceptible to damage I don't see how they are worse than anything else. Not engaging right away I guess is an issue if you only ever use it when stuck. I think they put the actuator on the inside now for the 3rd gens.
