So now I get to open up a can of worms with my HR department.
I asked for this full week off back in January and was told 'no' because one of my coworkers already had today and tomorrow off and my manager didn't want to have 2 people off at the same time. Ok, whatever, it's a new manager and if that's how he wants to run the office then that's fine, so I just took M-W. But when I got back to the office today I found out that the same manager had given himself today & tomorrow off, plus the original coworker is still off, plus a different coworker is out early today and another one has the whole day off tomorrow. Which means that the denial reason he gave me was total BS so I took it straight to HR.

    Well, it's done...

Not exactly what I wanted but it will work for the time being. '20 5.0L V8 with max tow. It looks black but it's like a dark maroon color in the light. Leather heated and cooled seats. 10spd trans. Drives pretty nice so far. Sport mode is a lot faster than the Sierra.

Yeah I've warmed up to it. Ordered some husky liners this morning. Had the Weathertechs in my GMC, fit was less than perfect. Decided to try Huskys.

Congrats! I really like that color, especially in sunny weather, it's sharp looking. Did you end up going new?
Good move, I like the Husky's much better than Weathertech. Nice looking ride

I like the Husky Weatherbeaters in my truck, but I wish I had gone with X-Act Contours for the back seat instead. Stuff wouldn't slide on them as easily.

Oh, believe me, shit slides on the Xact Contour floor covers just fine. Heavier items sink in a little and resist sliding, lighter items, like a snow scraper, just flies all over the rear floor.

    @jethro Take a look at FORScan: https://www.f150forum.com/f118/forscan-software-enable-disable-features-your-truck-348987/

One of the things I turned on is the ability to see the temperatures above the gauges:

    upload_2021-2-18_12-52-12.jpg

I also enabled global windows (hold unlock on the key to open the windows, hold lock to close), disabled the horn honk if I leave the truck running and walk away with the key, made the panic button require two presses, changed the amount of flashes for the turn signal, and probably some other things I'm forgetting.

Good to know! I guess I'm perfectly content with my WeatherBeaters then.

I second the use of ForScan, although I don't have the fancy dash so I was limited with what I could do. I added the DPF % full and have been putting off correcting the speedo for the taller tires. I also just found out I can change the number of flashes for directionals so I'll be doing that also.

That's something I like about the Ram dash; I've got a display that I use when I'm plowing or towing that shows me exact #'s for oil pressure & temp, transmission temp, and coolant temp. I like it much better than relying on the needles on the gauges when I'm working the truck.

From what I understand, the Ford oil pressure gauge is an illusion and doesn't have the ability to show anything other than pressure or no pressure. I wish I could get rid of that one and put my turbo boost gauge there. I can only replace the transmission temperature gauge with the turbo gauge though.

Hm, I never heard that level of problems but given my problems I had with it, I wouldn't be surprised if companies said no dice to working on these systems because they're just such a pile of shit.

Speaking of which, it's in my desk drawer if someone wants a nest thermostat, let me know!

I have the Honeywell Lyric T5, I think there was a newer one out when I got mine, let alone now, but it does everything I need and then some. Shade over 100$, worth every penny.

Good luck with that. Are you in a union shop? I'd just start looking elsewhere if you don't have seniority that you'd be giving up. That kind of shenanigans doesn't just go away after one time, that'll be a forever problem to deal with that shenanigans.

    :yay:

    Love that color.

The level of accessibility within Forscan was honestly a factor in why I considered the ranger when I was looking at the Tacomas.

Supposedly as long as it's at or above 7 PSI it'll read in the middle. Mine is always at just above center or 0. I've never seen it fluctuate at all.

I have that on one zone - the other two are just standard programmables because I don't really use them. They used to send me a monthly email of hours of boiler use. I had used them to determine what my boiler uses for oil in gallons per hour and it was pretty consistent every fillup.

I haven't seen those emails in a while, though, and I don't see anywhere else I can get the information.
