I’m ready for spring time temps

The longer days are kind nice though, aren't they?

 

Skied yesterday afternoon at JP. There definitely was a few spots that was slick, but I was pretty happy with what there was. Going back up tonight to ski, and staying at a friend's place and skiing tomarrow morning before work.

 

No winter sports for me unless it involves a gun or a bow and arrowbut yes longer days are nice . DST March 14

edit of edit: Just looked it up. Same time every year. Guess I never really paid attention to it. Might be another reason to celebrate. DST Party!!

 

I'm in Missouri right now for some training and never once in my life did I think another region would have shitter weather than in NE. Might just be this shitty winter but they shut down everything here for maybe an inch of snow. Heard you guys are getting dumped on with snow?

 

Just out of curiosity is anyone running 1"-1 1/2" wheel spacers?

 

Wouldn't really say dumped on is the right term lol. Wasnt much earlier in the week for snow, mostly icey shit

 

I use to run 1.25" spydertrax on all 4 corners before i got new wheels

 

no issues? I've never trusted spacers but i have a few friends running them on imports and they all swear they've never had a problem..

 

I gotcha hasn't been much different then what we got here, although they bitch about it a lot more here LOL.

 

I ran 1.25" Spidertrax for 2 years. I literally just took them off after I upgraded to new wheels. I had zero issues with them. As long as they are "hub Centric" and torqued to spec, they are fine. If you are looking for some, I was actually going to put mine up on TW today for sale. I was looking for $75 plus shipping but if you are local we can meet up. Let me know. Anyone that talks bad about spacers either 1. Never had them on their vehicle or 2. they weren't hub centric and they did not install them right.

 

Didn't have any problems. Just make sure you torque everything to what they say to torque the nuts to. I also would only go with spydertrax or Bora for spacers. And as Jared said them being Hub-centric is important, which all toyota specific ones will be hub-centric, GM runs lug-centric 6x5.5

Yea southerners tend to bitch about winter weather a lot more, although my buddy in Texas is having a hell of a time playing in the snow lol

Yesterday I towed the heaviest load so far with the third gen. It did pretty well. What do you guys think of the new addition?

Nice. I want to pick up a smaller tiller mod-v like a 16'er. Use it in some creeks with my small outboard I have now, and down on the bay in VA were my parents have a place.

 

Thanks! haha as you know I’ve wanted one forever. And after graduating and back to regular work, we thought it was a good time to get it done. It’ll provide a lot of family fun, and fulfill my fishing addiction
