No, the warehouse guys are but in the office we're not. But I've been here 10+ years so I've got some time invested in the job (and the 5 weeks of vacation that you get once you hit the 10 year mark) so I'm not going to just walk away. But he's new to the company (within the last couple of months) and if he's going to play games like that then I'm going to make sure that his boss knows about it.

Yeah I like the color, if it were sunny this morning I would have a better pic of it, but that will have to wait.

It is off a lease, less than 20k miles.

How often do you guys use that pin pad on the door? I'm wondering what I would use it for. Some folks say it's good for locking your keys in the truck like going on a bike ride or something, but then if someone does break into the truck, they have the fob and can drive away! I don't seem to have the master code or whatever to change it to my code, but I'm not sure I care.

I loved the keypad on my F150. I used it constantly when I was hunting, boating, etc and I miss it with the Ram. The owner's manual should explain how to add or change codes, and there should be a little card in the packet with the existing code.
Of course, mine was an actual key start, not a push button, so having them hop in & drive off wasn't a risk. I just used to hide the key under/behind the rear seat, lock up, and go. No worries about losing the key and being stranded.

Yeah that little card with the master code is missing. I need to call the dealer.

I use the code a lot when I walk out to the driveway or garage to grab something from my truck and didn't think to grab my keys. Pressing 7/8 and 9/0 at the same time will lock the truck too.

That picture is probably two months old. I think I'm actually at 20.3 or something like that this tank. The cold weather and snow has been killing it. In the summer I typically see low 22s.

That's awesome. I like buying trucks like that, semi-broken in, someone else takes the big initial depreciation hit but still plenty new for me!
I use the key pad a lot but I also have a keyed ignition so I can hide the keys inside and someone can't just jump in, start the truck and drive off. If I run into a store quick and want to keep the truck running, I'll use the key pad also but again, keyed ignition, no fancy fobs like you Lariat guys. I think my keypad gets used most when I'm just around outside or camping and don't have my keys on me, but want to get into the truck or bed. Just hit the code and it's unlocked, no need to go back inside to get my keys.
My factory reset code was in the Owner's manual book when I bought mine, not sure if you checked there. It was a card, the size of a credit card and it's a 6 digit code.

That's awesome for a full size truck! I'm happy as a clam at 18 at the moment.

Most recently I was 16.7 I believe. Think I'm due for new plugs which should help on the efficiency front

Definitely can't complain! It's barely lower than my 2.7. Part of it might be that the 2.7 had 3.73s and this one has 3.55s.

That's about what I saw on my 2011 Tacoma in the winter. 17-ish.

I think I get those emails.

We're a one-floor 1200sqft ranch with a crawl space. If we had multiple zones it would be a waste

IF I do ever build my own house, I would do an independent zone on the master bedroom. Summer A/C and winter Heat, can have the rest of the house cooler/hotter to save on the bills. But at that point, I'd just do a TS in each room :notsure: but I'm not going to retrofit it.

That said, my electricity w/ AC is 100/mo and my gas with heat is 80/mo (averaged throughout the year, NG does the averaging for us, they actually do it no-charge, either, which is nice). So, really why bother? I would consider solar but where we aren't looking to stay here forever, for only 100/mo is it really worth it, probably not.

Same - I'm salary, our shop floor is union.

5 weeks at 10 years! WOW! We get 2 weeks to start, 3 weeks at 5 years, 4 weeks at 10 years (??? that might be 15), and then 5 at 20 or 25. I'm at 5 years :yay: so I get my 3rd week.

If we cover weekends we get comp days so rolling into this year I had 5 weeks. o_O I usually use about 3 weeks +/- a few days if history is any indicator. Realistically I'll be at 3 weeks and might try to push a few extra days here and there in the summer half days or something but 3 is kind of my goldilocks zone. And that includes I think taking 9 days in March for a road trip.

I saw some F150 owners were able to use it to drop in adaptive cruise, which was a real draw since from the factory an F150 with that was like 50k+ where I could have gotten a Tacoma for 28 if I went with the 4 banger with that, the ranger I think was closer to 35k, I ended up at 36k with the Tacoma anyway. The F150 base needed was closer to 35k and about an extra grand in parts and program it, but that kinda sketched me out and decided to leave it as a factory only thing.

BUT. Now, I couldn't care less about that feature

Wow, I'd love adaptive cruise. Gonna have to look into this, and try not to call it Forskin...

Yeah, we're technically 4 weeks of vacation + a week of sick time, but they schedule and pay out the same way so it's basically 5 weeks of vacation.

It's really cool on the highway in a sedan. BUT I drive my truck like an old man, it's useless off the highway, and on the highway I usually drive close to 65-70 (usually at the speed limit, I'm an old fart) and everyone's pulling away from me, I have nobody to lock on to so why bother?

We are "unlimited" sick time, which is nice. I actually do like that.

Mine's 1500 sq ft with a full basement. The main house is on a zone, the addition (mud room/family room) is on its own zone, and the basement has a zone. I wish the master bedroom had a zone. If I ever have to replace the boiler, I'll look into the logistics of that.

My total paid time off might just depress everyone unless they also saw the pay .

Does anyone have an insight on where I can get a nice commercial grade, tracked snowblower.
I ordered a Honda from a local dealer two months ago but he BS’d me with first being in stock then a short lead time, now unavailable, now late in the year and I got burned.
Anyone know where I could get a tracked Honda, Arien, or Yamaha with electric start?
    Will be commercial use FYI
