    F NO. Why do you think I'm running away from the north!?!? :rofl:

    If the weather is good, ripping out my passenger seats this weekend, working on the sleeping platform next week or this weekend if time permits. Was planning to use some harbor freight pelican knock offs, but I found more pictures and it looks like I DO have rear foot vents, so I will probably have to end up building a timber frame instead of using those as a base. Might be able to use one or maybe even two and a timber box in the middle or something. All part of my weekend/week, is doing this ahead of time and not the day before the trip :rofl:

    CB radio is also up and "tuned" (I'm no pro by a long shot). I'm ready to eat meat and get fat!

    PS - I will have +1 and +1 dog, my +1 will not be doing the contest though, will be coming from Denver in a jeep (so he may not make it). My dog would love a crack at the contest though :rofl:

    My current plan has us getting in around Friday night, maybe Saturday morning instead - and then heading out Sunday AM ~8AM, but that can be flexible on the departure time.

    Which also leads me to a question - where the hell are we sleeping? o_O

    PVC is really easy to work with for making a sleeping platform.

    I think we're going to Lake Meredith but I have no idea where, there's a lot of camping available there.

    1.5" PVC works like a dream in the bed. I had connector tubes over to another loop on the passenger side so it fit the entire bed. Let me know if you want the cutlist, I can't upload a pdf file here.

    I have a old friend that lives on the lake and it is really low. Last time I talked with him it was like 55’ below normal pool level at 35% full
