    How was it? Did you travel the part that has a creek bed for a road?

    Ripped off all four mudflaps. Scratches all down both sides 6112’s up front on 3rd notch 5100’s in back with Toytech 1” block Skids & sliders from SOS Concepts I got rid of the 1” block and put on Wheelers 1 1/2” progressive AAL. SPC UCA. Be sure your standing on the drivers side when reading the instructions! I swapped sides so many times that I can swap UCA’s in 15 minutes. I put in the 3/4” spacer to eliminate the Taco Lean, and just got my 4th alignment. Traded the OEM rims for 17” Sport rims and a bora bora 1” spacer. I got my Firestone 285/70/17 MT2’s. Pelfreybilt gas tank skid and hi-lift jack should be here Friday. Looking at bumpers, but I think they will wait for next year. So far I’m happy with my build. I’ve done it all myself, leading to a lot of cussing and frustration, but it’s all mine.
    Once I figured out that I couldn’t find the road behind the cemetery, and the creek WAS the road. It was a pretty good drive. 829CAC46-19FA-4D19-91EF-B40C42115D63.jpg

    I was glad for 10 ply sidewalls. Those rocks were pretty jagged.

    I was going to trade in my Tacoma for something bigger with a V8, but the drive was good enough that I’ve decided I like it enough to keep it.

    I ran around with these guys for awhile yesterday, and had a blast. if you get a chance to go for a ride with them, I highly recommend it.

    That's awesome! Creek bed is usually dry, but I guess it's the time of year.

    @Empty_Lord @what road

    You clowns can just keep this action, and your single digit temps, up there in your little frozen wastelands. :mad: Us Southerners have thin skin and lightweight clothes. We have to argue to stay warm!

    Actually, we've been lucky the last 2 Winters. Mild temps and low snow fall. Some years we get big (for this area) snow in March because warm and cold air tend to merge between here and about Nashville. I'll take the snow, but we have freezing rain in forecast for two days this coming week. I live outside the city limits, so low pop density means long waits for power to be restored. I do have a Predator 6500 watt here and at my Mom/Dads place, but just hate dicking with them at night in Winter.

    Shit man, sorry I brought it up. We are in the low 20's because the sun came out.

    I want to be outside as much as possible, so not a fan of Winter. Always promise myself every Feb that I won't bitch about heat and humidity in July-Sep when I am training for our local Oct half marathon. I can lose 5-7 pounds of fluid weight on a 10 mile run. Don't like carrying/drinking water, and then having sloshing around in my belly when I run.

    Lol it is what it is! I don’t mind the cold. Once you lived in Alaska for a few months (of course during the coldest ones), this is nothing

    Finally got around to cleaning off my trucks yesterday. Been driving the Camry.

    Ice storms suck. With the deep freeze coming starting tomorrow, I figured now or never. We got just a tiny bit of weak sun and it was 27 degrees in the afternoon, so it came off semi easy. I screwed up and left them outside because we were only supposed to get a minor amount. Wed after work, I saw vehicles in parking lot that had 2 inches of ice on lower windshield area. I had gone in at noon, so mine was only maybe 1/2" thick.

    Cleared out space in the garage and going to get them inside before the snow on Monday. Might get the green one out and go play if we get the "substantial snowfall event" the weather people are forecasting.

    Winter tip: if you put the original wipe on Rain-X on day before an ice event, it really helps. Sometimes the water runs off so quick it doesn't even freeze on the windows. I've had it work so well there was just a big pile of frozen rain drops on the cowl louver/wiper area. Just brushed them off. Did not do it before this event. :mad:

    I doubt my taco would be running yet. But my tundra does? But that’s not a taco!

    If I have sliders fabricated by then maybe I can swing it. But with this wonderful weather we’re having I may be doing work to the barn to save it.. it’s not enjoying this month
