Nice. I’m impressed with his work. I like the +2.25 kit, but unsure if I would want to go that wide or at all on this truck and just do something solid axle. Are the heims a worthy upgrade even on a factory rack?

I have them on mine right now with a stock rack. I have a tundra rack that is also waiting to go in. The short answer is yes it is worth it. I got a better steering feel but also am not worried about bending the spindle there nor breaking an outer joint. You'll get to check them out on sat. Definitely a big confidence booster for me in getting rid on one more OE weak link of potential breakage.

Reality is the +2.25 with the right offset wheels depending on how much you lift it will not be crazy wide. I forget the offset they used but they did a 35 with a non aggressive offset wheel and got it to stay within the stock fenders. With my +4 and approx where I am going to have my truck lifted with the offset wheels I'm looking at I'll look like most people with a +2 kit or a little wider.

That’s very appealing. I wouldn’t want it to stick out a huge amount like some I see. I like the idea of a long travel rock crawler. Does their mounts move the LCA in more to the middle to make for less poke?

No it leaves it in the stock location in that plane just has adjustment to have the LCA in the stock location to 1" forward. It's all about wheel choice and stuff.
Check these pics out. 37 12.50 17s 0 offset with the 2.25 kit doesn't look anymore aggressive than my truck with -12 offset wheels with a 1.5" spacer.

Not at first. I want to get the spring rate, CO valving, and my bumps dialed wheel that for a bit and then revisit it after I get all that sorted. Talking with Harry I may not need to and it may be a total waste. I told him how I wheel and that was his suggestion. This is another reason I really like JD is Harry and the guys really could care less about selling you everything and making a bunch but more about getting you set up with what would best suit your needs and advise you from there.
