I bet Line-X in August would do it. A classmate from highschool recently bought it and he has been posting some work they have done. including lift kits. I don't know if htye do alignments though and that would be the deciding factor for me to choose where to bring mine to get done. Do you know what you are installing?

Back on the housing topic, my realtor is repeatedly recommending that my wife and I build. She is a family friend so I trust her judgment and we have a place to stay in the meantime. Is anyone building right now? How have the change orders been with the changes in materials pricing? My friend walked away from building his house because the price changed $25k due to an increase in materials cost.

Materials are up and cost of labor as well, but prices are crazy high on houses right now.

It's really six of one, half dozen of the other right now. Building prices are crazy right now due to materials costs, but all of the contractors I know are already booked through the end of the summer. On the other hand, housing prices are just as bad

I think part of the issue is we are in a weird price point in the area. Not high enough to buy whatever we want, but more money than a lot of what's on the market. I'm not looking to spend all the money, but if I can get what I want, new, cheaper than buying a house that is still standing, I will take it. The downside for us is the build time, more time building means more time living with the in-laws.

Also if Biden does a blanket down payment program, that will likely increase the price of already built homes. We don't have a lot of developments out here like they have closer to Portland.

That would be the worst, my better half and I have been searching for months up near bangor. Not in bangor itself because taxes are ludicrous there, and prices are too. We've been looking for someplace with a 2+ car garage, or enough land to build one. apparently if you're not ready to spend 500k, your options are very limited

Cool thanks I'll keep that in mind. Probably go with 5100s, 887 coils, JBA UCAs and either Deavers or Icon AALs. Not sure which coils to go with yet. I have some SCS rims that I'm going to put 255/75/17s on as well, thinking duratracs would be nice. Requested a quote from Archie's so we'll see.

FYI. I did that lift in my garage in about a day and half by myself. If you have any questions let me know.

@Norms_207 what @ME OFF Rd said. Minus swapping the UCAs, I did the same lift in the driveway--though did order the coil overs assembled.

Advice: go ahead and plan to have the needle bearing replaced w/ the ECGS bushing. Good write ups on here & YouTube on what it is, does & how tos

I did my lift in about 2 days.. would have been less but i also did the ECGS bushing.. dirt driveway.... would have gone faster with a friend helping, or doing the other side. the UCA bolt on the new 3rd gens is a PITA..

Thanks for the guidance y'all. If it's around $500 to install I'll prob just do that, guess that's what I value my weekend at. Glad to know it's doable to DIY though.
