I am looking to put 20”x12 -44 on my Tacoma. I plan to put a 2” billet lift spacer to fit them. Has anyone done this set up, or know if it will work? I have seen it on custom offsets but don’t wanna pull the trigger just yet.

    Thanks!

..geez..I admit to being absolutely no fan of solid rubber run-flat low profile tires. 20inch wheels make no sense to me on any vehicle. BUT...if you want 20 inch wheels go for it, just try it, spend the money..

Screw that. If everyone hates on 20s, do 22s, or 24s. Your truck your money your taste.

These are 20s on a tacoma, they dont look that bad when paired with the right tire.

    https://audiocityblog.wordpress.com/2019/01/05/20″-xd-wheels-xd829-hoss-2-satin-black-machined-with-dark-tint-clear-coat-off-road-rims-rbp-repulsor-mt-rx-tires-ams-leveling-kit-2018-toyota-tacoma-trd-audiocityusa/

For this 2018 Toyota Tacoma TRD
    our customer wanted Offroad wheels
with an aggressive offset and went with
XD Wheels XD829 Hoss 2 Satin Black Machined
with Dark Tint Clear Coat Off-Road Rims

Wheel and tire set up is
    20×9 -12et wrapped with
33×12.5×20 RBP Repulsor MT RX Tires
leveled on a 2 1/2″ AMS Suspension leveling kit.

Note : Minor trimming is needed in the front to clear 33″ on a leveling kit.

Its when you get into 22s and they stick out super far that they start looking bad.

This is the set up I’m looking at, for those interested (tire choice may change). Also jlemmond, are you running standard 9 width?

    thanks for the replies y’all!

You may also want to check local laws regarding wheels sticking out. There may be laws that say your wheel has to stay within the fender flares.

Yes always ask your local government before you make any decisions on anything.
