A well known name brand with a Connecticut shade wrapper like a Macanudo Cafe or a Carlos Torano or Rocky Patel with a Connecticut wrapper will be on the milder side for the beginners and the non cigar smokers to enjoy. Stick with a known brand that comes in a box, and avoid any 'bargain' bundles.

Camacho Connecticut are a medium but bold smoking cigar. Nice price, good flavor (not flavored, just tobacco), plenty of smoke.

My favorite is the Drew Estate Kentucky Fire Cured. Grab a couple of those the day before or if you're going to sticking with cigars long term, a travel case like the ones at the bottom of this thread is a good start plus a boveda pack and a humicare sponge humidifier or gel-stick will keep a small humidor good for a long time. Remember distilled water only.

Forgot to take a pic but had a Zeal Cigars Spice Cream short gordo. Great smoke. I had one fresh, it was ok. This one had been in my humidor for about a month and much better.

Question for the high altitude smokers, we live at 7550’, what lighter do you use?
Most of the time, mine have a hard time lighting

I'm primarily an ACID and Drew Estate JAVA guy. One of my favorite spots is Island Girl in Neptune Beach FL. Good beers and drinks, chill atmosphere. Prefer the Belgian Waffle, a chocolate stout topped with a blonde ale - goes great with a cigar. I'm a bullet, punch cut guy. I like and collect zippos - many don't like lighting cigars with Zippos, I'm not that anal. I like things that are old school.

Went to install a new dishwasher and it will not power up, so a service call has been set up, but Google says the business is permanently closed. Life of living in a small town. I will call Bosch back tomorrow if I don’t get a call from the service company.
Time for a nice H.Upmann Magnum 54 and an Irish Whiskey

Welcome to the KFC club. I have a majority of these in my humidor. Picked up some of the KFC sweets too on recommendation. Very sweet. Nice change of pace every now and then.

Side note: I've had my humidor setup for a while now (couple months), every week or two the humidity dips and I refill the shotglass of distilled and recharge my gel packs. I pulled four sticks this past weekend and they were pretty dry. Though I will say they were still in their wrappers so that may have attributed to it. Is it possible the humidor just isn't seasoned enough? To be honest I didn't properly season it before adding all my cigars since I got them both at the same time. but I've got two gel sticks, a shotglass of distilled, a boveda and the gel puck that came in the humidor in there. I figured it'd be overkill if anything...
For reference its a 30 stick humidor with probably ~20 sticks in it.
