So I live in upstate new york and want to upgrade my suspension as soon as I get the car. I have done some research and I do not need remote reservoir shocks as all my off-roading will be on trails in the Adirondacks and basic driving. With that said, I don't just want a minor upgrade, a more premium ride and a 2-3" lift would be perfect.
I am also planning to in the future to put a tent on the back and potentially some extra weight as well as a C4 front bumper most likely. With that said, If I didn't have all the weight on the truck, are there any systems that will still drive pretty normally even though they are rated to carry 600ish pounds?

I am also putting some Toyo 285/70/17 on with -12 offset wheels if this info helps.

Any info is greatly appreciated since I am new and don't want to make a mistake and overpay or cheap out. THANKS!

If you are open to retracting that first statement, there are several great options for you that will get you the lift height you want, be adjustable for added weight, and tunable for your desired ride quality. Remote reservoirs have everything to do with performance and ride quality. Customizing these trucks and adding nearly 600lb of weight is exactly why we custom valve the shocks we sell. Off the shelf options may not be ideal if you are looking for the best ride out there.

So I was looking at the Old Man Emu 3 Inch Lift Kit heavy load option, would you say this is not a good option for my use case?

Standing by for recommendations myself. I had the OME Heavy Dakar on my 03 Tacoma--was great. Does it affect my warranty is my question.
