It was my car from 2015-2016. I took it in 2-3 times and they would put tape over the oil cap and drain plug. Every time they said it was within specification. But I don't believe them. Did my own test and it was burning way too much. Dealer also refused to replace the dash even though it was the consistency of a roasted marshmallow for 8 months out of the year. Then I passed the car down to my brother.

Huh, too bad they dislike the thinner shit. That's hardly a huge difference. Hell most of my engines can range from 30 to 60 without issue.

the 3.5 never exhibited the issue and its in the same boat. its got to do with how the 4 cylinders were made and their PCV system plays into it too

ive only ever seen one 3.5 burn oil.

and its my brothers be cause he doesnt let me keep his oil changes up to date

I've given up. My father is rough with vehicles and used to steal the car from my brother to take it on road trips. Door panels are poorly designed in the 07-11 Camry and the arm rest thing collapses under weight. Then my brother ran over a dead deer and got hit by a girl at his community college. Car is a beater now.

Dude is asking $1000 for an 180K 5VZ, trans, tcase, and wiring harness for a 1999. He said no one has shown interest so he's flexible on price. I'm thinking about offering him $800 for everything. Then I could bring you the trans next time I visit my parents. Laredo is like the halfway point for me to Mission.

I paid $300 for my sort of alright R150F lol.

@BartMaster1234 this is amazing advice, more and more big companies are having SCADA systems integrated and would be the next logical step if you're serious with following an automation route.

I think 2nd gen clips look alright. The refreshed 2nd gen front end might be the better choice.
