    Check build thread!
Oh yea, not saying I'm buying them. Just thought it was interesting that they already copied them so quick.

Not E-bay skid plate. I just had a cover over the TRD mounting location while I had my letters painted the same colour as the truck. Wanted to keep the area clean since it was in December when I installed the skid plate.

Hey, just wanted to mention you may want to check the recommended wheel width on the 33" tires you plan on purchasing. I know for the Toyota ATIII's they had a minimum width of 7.5", but the stock OR wheel is 7" wide

Is the black between the windows a Double Cab thing? I was thinking of removing mine and then when I picked up my Access Cab, it didn't come with it anyway.

Actually rethinking this and may go with Methods hub centric wheels. Thanks for the input. Much appreciated!

Its from AL Off Road, the Bare Outfitters/TRAILGATE panel. They had a group buy not too long ago.

They have a little give but they're hard plastic. Not as rigid as oem though.

Not at all, SUPER easy. I have an aftermarket tailgate panel though. So I didn't even have to loosen any bolts from my panel for the install. I believe if you have the factory tailgate panel you will need to remove/loosen a few bolts to get the tailgate lock installed, but that's easy enough.

    I have two question guys:

    1. Is there any difference between the above two shocks?
I mean, Yes, I can see that one says, 4WD and the other RWD. But are there any physical differences between them?
Are there any difference in parts/supplied hardware that comes with these? Can an RWD shock be installed on 4WD? or a 4WD shocks be installed on an RWD?
    2. I know it says 'Requires UCA', but is UCA upgrade required for these shocks, even if I am *not lifting my truck up 3". I am only interested in leveling the truck (1.6" if I am not mistaken).
Question is, do I still need to buy an AM UCA even if I am not lifting the truck with these shocks?
(Before somebody tells me why I am not buying the 0~2" inches shock instead of the 0~3" shock, the reason is to avoid the coil spring compression. I don't off-road. I drive on-road 99.99% of the time. I want to tune for comfort.)
(Recently when a friend got her Fox 0~2", 2.5 shocks, though they were already threaded to give a lift of 1.2" straight from the factory, she had to still compress the springs more to level her truck, thereby resulting in a more stiffer ride. I want to avoid this, so I am buying a 0~3 inch shock to give more room for tuning, less compression)

This is true. I got new wheels so I could get duratracs in a 285/75r16. Bfgoodrich k02’s are 7” wide plus so that is an option.

What took longer to install, the fogs or the bakflip?

My ss3 pros are supposed to be here Saturday. Went with clear color and had combo lenses added to the order. Won't be using them in traffic, going to be offroad/back road lights for me. Wanted more spread... And fog is not a issue for me often.

Also debating between the bakflip and the gator tonneau covers.... I've had a bakflip g2 (I think) on a past Tacoma but bought it used for a steal.

For number 1. Part numbers are the same and there are zero differences between suspension on 3rd gen tacomas afaik.

Number 2. I think the UCA upgrade is so you can get an alignment within specs if you lift past 2". Past 2 inches you get negative camber that you can't fix without the UCA upgrade I believe.

I'm not a lift guy, I'm sure someone with more knowledge on the subject can chime in an verify the above.

Tonneau cover took longer. There is just more steps to completing it. I also have long arms so All I had to do was reach inside and installed the lights one handed. Bakflip and gator are made by the same company I went with Bakflip because the panels are thicker and the matte finish holds up better to uv. The mounting hardware is also supposed to be better but I have no way to prove that.
