My work did a delayed arrival. So odd to look out and see less than 2" of snow and be on a delay... thought I lived in "Colorado".

I like to leave early on snow days to plow through the roads that havent been touched and not have to worry about other idiots that dont know how to drive.

What is a snow day? The mountain people don't understand this terminology.

I didn't have any snow on my commute to work. The stairs would have been pretty treacherous if there was....

Yep. Once my divorce is complete and the kids are in college, my thoughts are to go work abroad again... or if I stay here, rent the house I have and live out of an RV. I can "move" to anywhere allowed as often as I want.

While I totally agree with your notion that there was no need for a snow day or delays today, I think the snow totals varied widely across the metro area. I brushed a solid 6 inches off my truck this morning before heading to work.

Oh yes I do know about the powder clause, born and raised in steamboat. If I could afford a season pass I would use it. But at the same time the mountain is getting pretty portentous. They were charging $250 for a day pass; "to help keep people safe during covid".

Steamboat is one of the places I haven't been and want to go. $250 for a day pass is crazy and I get it's to detour people from going there but dam that's a lot. Hopefully it goes back down once this is all over.

Ya Ikon pass is the way to go. When the mountain advertised that price, they made a lot of locals unhappy. Hopefully they realize that those prices aren't sustainable.

Are you trying to say you actually got off work for Presidents Day and are now complaining about it being a long week?
