Does anyone have experience running these?

Looking to grab them in LT265/75/r16 on my stock OR, but I can't seem to find much intel about them via the search feature.

Would love to hear from you all. Pictures are bonus points because pictures are fun.

I had Geolander AT's on my '03 4runner for a few years. So far, they were the best all terrains I've used in snow. I was constantly impressed with them in that regard.

Overall, I had no complaints. They got noisy eventually. But, I never rotated them, so that could have been a contributing factor.

They’re great. I replaced mine with newer pirelli scorps for a more macho look but tbh I am seriously thinking of going back to g015.

Interesting to hear that. The Pirelli is amongst my top 3 at the moment. What load rating you have?

It feels like a truck. Tbh sport rides like shit anyways. Only thing is I lost 1mpg going with 265/75r16s. Getting 16-17 vs 17-18.

Per the recommendation of @GPsevinSixx I put a set on in October. Mine are 265/70R16 SL. So far they are dead silent on the road. As quiet if not quieter than the GYear AT Adventures the truck came with. Ride quality is terrific. Dry traction is a 10. Wet traction is a 10. Hydroplane resistance I'll give a 9. It might change to a 10 or an 8 in the future, but for now a few deep puddles I drove through at 50+mph pulled the truck a bit more than I thought it should of. But was not dangerous by any stretch of the imagination. Wet dirt trails to light mud (meaning 1-3" deep mud with hardpack underneath) I give a 10. Have had no snow or ice yet. Also have not tried deeper mud or deep soft dirt. Have not driven in enough river sand yet to form a hard definate opinion.

My prediction for 'reasonable' deep mud is that with enough wheel spin to clean tire lugs you would be OK, but these are NOT mud tires by any definition.

My prediction for sand is that they will be just fine. So far they have been great.

Who knows with snow/ice. That remains to be seen.

Fuel economy dropped by MAYBE 1 mpg.

What I don't like is that the tires pick up and hold pebbles and smaller than marble size gravel quite a bit. More so than other AT tires I've used in the past. It's not terrible but it's not good either.

If and I stress IF they do good in the winter I would buy again.

You will be buying again! Those tires really earned the 3PMSF snow rating in my opinion. Aside from actual winter tires, these were easily the best tires I've used in the winter.

My wife has Geolander's on her Tacoma. They've lasted 4 years/50,000 miles, through winters both in Colorado and Kentucky. Not a single complaint (with noise, rain or snow driving). She does zero off-roading though. I'll be buying them again in the next year.

Can any of you guys post pix of how the sidewall is? I’ve been going back n forth on this tire but the sidewall seems kind of tame compared to others.

Anyone running this tire in a 285/70/17?

I have a set of 265/75/16 E1 on my work truck since Feb. I'm a rancher, but I have a long commute so it's like 50% highway and 50% farm roads.

Highway-super smooth. Very minor road noise. Nothing more than any road biased AT.

Dirt- tons of grip. No vagueness in steering feel.

Rain- no issue. Tons of grip. Go through puddles without worry

Mud- better than all the other A/T tires I've had so far.

Towing- load E made a huge difference in towing stability. Worth it.

Wear- wearing very evenly. Plenty of tread left even after 20,000 miles of hard use. No chunks or cuts from the gravel roads I drive on regularly.

MPGs- My work truck is a 2002 GMC Sierra 1500 5.3L v8. I had goodyear adventure kevlar A/T load C tires prior, avg around 17 mpg with those. Now with the load E tires, I'm avg 15 mpgs.

    Great tire. No regrets

    Thanks for posting!

Love to hear how you like these tires when you get yours mounted. I came up on too good of a deal on KO2s that I couldn't pass up lol

As an addendum to my previous post-

    A. Wear seems to be faster than I would like.

    B. We have had several snows with varying degrees of the type of snow (deep, light snows, dry fluffy, hardpacked, wet and slushy). And we have had some ice. While the tires have not performed as well as my experience with GYear Duratracs, they have performed very well. Hardly, if ever, need to use 4wd while others around me are using 4wd or all wheel drive and are slipping and sliding.

So far outside of picking up small pebbles and possibly faster wear than I would like to see, the SL rated G015's are performing VERY well in a wide variety of conditions with minimal mpg loss and NO tire noise.
