Frames should the the same. Sometimes they need some persuasion to get everything lined up

Thanks for the responses @kbp810 and @Shellshock. I'm going to do some more research and reach out to Victory 4x4. I've watched their install video multiple times and my frame looks so different from theirs that I can't even see a way to make these sliders work.

Hey all, newish to the area and looking around for good shops (including self service garages) and places and meetups to check out. Currently in the Kalamazoo area with a 2019 MGM TRD OR DCSB.

Any info would be much appreciated

Hello, new here myself. Near the Detroit metro airport. If there is not a meetup we should start one. And plan a trip. Sorry I don't know of any shops we do a lot of our own work.

I am not far from you in Stevensville. Not alot of meetups locally except for cars and coffee when it warms up. We spend alot of time at silver lake, do some trips to the Badlands, and also trail rides up north. What kind of shops are you looking for?

I'm sure I'll find something around here. I'm down for a group meetup

Good to know. Silver Lake and the Badlands looks pretty awesome. Adding to my list of places to check out.

As for shops, a self-service garage with a lift would be ideal. There were a couple places back in Seattle (where I'm from) that had a ton of tools and equipment to use. I'm not sure if there's something similar around here.

I am also in Kalamazoo and as far as I know there are no (public) do-it-yourself garages around.

Check out Yankee Springs and Barry State Game Area for some decent forest service roads. They aren't huge but last time I was there I spent about 2 hours on trails. I used the Ramblr app to find some routes.

Are those places that would be fun to do in the winter?

Yankee Springs is a blast with snow on the ground...which I prefer over mud. Nothing super crazy there, but fun. I wish we could get a group meetup there soon. I see a decent amount of jeeps meeting there, but have never seen a taco meetup there.

Let's plan something. My husband has his jeep, I have a taco and now we have a group! What's a good weekend?

I could be there around 10 if that's not too early. Earlier if you prefer. I have another appointment around 2 that I have to get to. Or we can pick a different weekend.

Yeah, it's pretty slim pickings in that area. I'm in Lansing and it's the same issue. Unless you like mud.

We would like to go to an off road park in Michigan. I don't think any are open this time of year but I don't know for sure. Have you been to any?

I haven't yet. This fall I drove by the Holly one and it looked like a good time, but super dry and dusty. Plus you have to get all the ORV stickers, etc. so you can't just roll in and ride. I did hear you can buy them there now.
