I guess I just don't have a reference point to a stock 3.4l, I haven't driven an n/a one since my old Prerunner from 16 years ago.

And my truck has only gotten heavier since day one so it's only gotten slower

There’s two I work on at work. The power gained is VERY noticable. It puts the power close to what my tundra makes. And the tundra shits all over the 3.4 in my dads 02.

More power yes but also more headache. I don't have the ping issues I use to have with this truck luckily, it used to be really bad. I'm honestly not really sure what changed to make it go away, I've got the 7th injector but that really doesn't kick in unless I romp on it. It's mostly just a whiny fuel pump kit

Probably driving style I guess made the most difference, keep shifts at about 3k and don't have to worry about ping, at least for me. and goodbye gas mileage

Meh headaches. The guys here have the old trd 7th setup. They report no pinging. But elevation and all that fun stuff play into that dhit

 

yeah I'm fairly close to sea level. Up on the mountain at 6 - 10k feet it doesn't happen as much.

Also weather, have to be more careful in the summer time. Cooler weather makes for happy boost

 

And fuck premium gasssssss
