Honestly, I trust Mat to have squeezed every bit of (safe) power out of this NA motor with the 2.0 tune. There may be a little bit more in it, but with modern motors there isn't a ton you can get without going to forced induction. The 91/93 tune is pretty damn good though.

You can squeeze more power out of it with 93 pushing ignition to the bleeding edge, probably find another 10 horsepower. But that leaves you on the edge of the detonation limit.

That's pretty much what I figured. At that point an extra 10 HP isn't going to feel much different, and it's nice to have a little bit of a safety factor there.

what you already downed a 24 back of pure pleasure juice! LMK - been in conversation with Chad about porting his version to our 04B04. Soon. May need to catch up down your way since it seems to be the location we are all familiar with.

I’ve had something similar happen a couple times.

Once i had to reset DTC and try again and it worked
Another i had to ignition off, ignition on, clear dtc and then it took.

ive had 2 fail on me, it was definitely a pucker moment.

both were right at the start of the flash like the above picture and didnt screw me up.

i definitely only flash now when i know i dont have to be somewhere. I was flashing before driving to work...

I have had a couple but I’ve been around since the beginning (fall 2017) and flashed a whole bunch of times. I’ve helped with some test tunes too. I think @tonered did like 100 flashes in a day a while back.

New instructions are on our website.

The process is simplified. For most users (who don't care about editing) you only really need to worry about the first section.

    basically >
    Install program
    Register program
Get calibration ID and license your vehicle
    flash the file you want
    enjoy.
