Haha.. you dog! I knew you'd have something up your sleeve for the housing. I'll add it to the list! I just like the look of @stiles88 a few posts up but like you said, it's gonna impact the output that I love.

Just promise I'll finally get my hands on a @MESO 3rd Brake Light first!! haha

I'm looking to get one of these for my 4Runner and was wondering which light you guys went for? Having a hard time deciding which to get.

The pics in post 412 are the work/scene, and it looks great. Notice how the light is very even and goes up high on the concrete wall. The wide cornering will be a little more intense for a wider swath but won’t light up as high.

I went with the wide cornering in white. I was going to go with the work/scene because it’s a big cone of light, but looking at the pictures of the beam pattern the wide cornering illuminates a wider path while still lighting up plenty high to see other vehicles and obstructions. I had a set of the diffused lens Rigid Dually lights on the rear of my Dodge 2500, they weren’t nearly as good as the wide lens Dually they replaced. If I chose poorly the lenses are $12 and easy to swap.

    https://www.bajadesigns.com/products/S1-Lens-Kits.asp

    Their lens descriptions:

Wide Cornering: BD was the first to develop a pattern specifically for cornering, dust and/or fog conditions. The Wide Driving pattern offers a 42° flattened horizontal beam for the ultimate in comfort lighting. (Lighting Zones 1 & 2)

Work/Scene: Excellent work light or “scene light” with an extremely smooth circle that projects about 40ft. This pattern is not suitable for driving. (Lighting Zone 7)

Got my harness and installed it. Light works at least 10x better now!

Honestly, a couple t-taps, and some wire and this thing is simple to hook up. Took me a whopping 10 minutes. And I know nothing about wiring.

Plug and play with oem connectors is always better than t-taps.
