No, just an angled adapted. I have the wireless CPLAY2Air tucked under the dash in the cubby.

Yes, it gives you wireless CarPlay. I wouldn't say it is flawless. I sometimes have to unplug it and the replug it in to connect. Otherwise, it works without any issues.

So I started reading the instructions from the tvd website and my head hurts (which is semi common anyway) not entirely sure which instructions to use...

... is there a video by any chance?
... If I reread them will they make more sense?
... is this the "wet" method or not?

    thanks!

Quick questions, did you paint the logo on the steering wheel.......did you leave it on and just mask it off really well?
Is that regular matte black or for plastic?

Can you link the post to remove the mirror knob?

I kind of wish I went that route too, I did the meso delete kits for the rings and knobs.
The chrome rings would reflect on the side windows and it was super annoying....now the only thing is the blue "D" on the shift indicator.

Just did the full MESO interior parts (sadly they didn't have the steering wheel emblem, gotta get one yet). I wish I had seen AJT for the climate rings before getting those from MESO but personal preference there.

Problem I have now is all this silver plastic is completely annoying me. Not sure how I'm going to address it yet. Thinking having it all hydro dipped if the stuff on the steering wheel isn't bad to remove. Also tossing around using Rustoleum Camo paint (OD Green) on it, tough ass paint I have on my rifles. Only time I would consider "paint" on an interior part.

Think you answered a question i've had. I have a Pro coming in a few weeks, and wondered if the rings were still chrome on that model? Looks like they are.

I went with AJT design back in August. Meso is fine but they were sold out on stuff as is often a problem, I'm on wait list for stage 1 total taillights for a while.

AJT had everything available and I like how it turned out. I have an sr5 so it didn't get a few things like the start button. IMG_20200822_171349.jpg IMG_20200823_194823.jpg IMG_20200823_193603.jpg

MESO red but with a few key pieces like the shift collar, wheel logo, and start ring swapped out for MGM. You know, so's not to overdo it. :cookiemonster:

Welcome to TW. The textured pattern is rather subtle on these, if that helps. If you want smooth, your best bet would be to vinyl overlay the existing rings.

I'm taking delivery on a 2021 Pro in a few weeks, and am trying to order some mods (like this one) before it arrives. Ironically, I can't tell if the Pro has the same chrome bits on the inside as the other models. Can anyone with a pro tell me if the vents, door handle, climate control etc. are all still chrome?
    Thanks!

Yea meso is probably the best also most expensive but also the best but also most expensive but the best but...etc..

I went with the decal/stickers and here's the results... not awesome but not bad if I had to do itnover I would ve done the meso stuff probably...I do like it blacked out...the 4 was just in with the other decals so I stuck next to the 4x4 switch... also did the glovebox letter inserts...20210219_160952.jpg 20210219_161001.jpg 20210219_161017.jpg

I put in a stage 1 kit I ordered from them just this week. Maybe I bogarted the last one.... Try MESO's other retailers (see his website for the links).

I have the factory LED headlights and only have hyperflashing when in reverse. Not a scenario I care about, so didn't bother with load resistors. Others have noticed the same. I had tried other LED bulbs (sylvania, lasfit) and had hyperflashing during 'normal' turn signal use. So I'm happy w/MESO's work. Now if he can get just get more LED dome lights on the street I'll gladly :spending:

Like Kenstogie I also did the 'vinyl sticker' interior chrome delete (except for the door handles--used MESO for those). I'm happy w/how it turned out. No one makes replacement console trim rings for MTs anyway and I didn't feel like yanking it and painting it. How ever you do the chrome delete, it is absolutely worth it.

I had checked meso, r4t and tacoma lifestyle those were sold out. I forgot about Tacoma beast.

@Homiec How do the reverse lights hyper flash? I would think those would be on constant.

I have Hikari ultra LED in my low beams and DD ss3 fog lights. Factory LED headlights wasn't an option I could find a truck with not sure it was even an option on SR5.
Tacomabeast has the meso map lights but not the dome light (sold out)
