Taste is subjective but in the defense of sliders, I see ZERO comparison between the looks of these 2 products
I'll take the low profile sliders any day over the wheelchair ramps...YMMV...shrockslider.jpg images_product-images_AMPPowerStep760x5003_w760_h500_cr_q75.jpg

I ordered the predator bars when i bought my tacoma, their fine most of the year except now in this winter. Been cold and snowy, they seem to collect all this road slush, and snow from your feet that turns to ice on them. Makes it actually worse getting in the truck.

Tired of your truck getting dings and scratches? Well here's a product for you!

You can also purchase foam cubes to protect your ride. Very popular in Korea and Japan if you don't care about aesthetics.

Jokes aside, I find the oem running boards provide some decent protection from door dings.

Hm, yeah not bad. Just looks out of place on an OR. Will look much better on a lowered sport IMO.

Oh for sure it would. I imagine a lowered white sport would look pretty sharp with it.

Now I’m actively looking at sliders..... Any good deals in the 600 range? They all look so good! Preferably 0 degrees and bolt ons... Are there any dealers or places to look at them near Southlake Texas to save on shipping costs?

    Another question.
What is wrong with the Tacoma Grill? Why does everyone replace them or buy a new one and paint it? The 9000 page 3rd gen thread is full of people changing their grills. Is this something I need to watch out for? Do they chip, crack, catch on fire? If they are bad is there a generic cheep one I can install or order for when mine breaks? Or is it something that breaks only after heavy off roading due to flexing and bending?

I’ve never seen a lowered Tacoma. Plenty of F150s and Silverados around here that are lowered. Only small pick up that I have seen lowered are the older S10s.

My brother has something similar as well as huge front and rear foam things for his car in NYC. Pretty common up there.

Thanks. Thought there was a reason it seemed like everyone was replacing or plastic coating them.

There are 2 or 3 guys on here with lowered tacomas. They look pretty good.
