I have a stock TRD Sport, I cannot lift it due to, well lack of better word my wife and mother being short, I am upgrading from the sport wheels and want a beefier tire to go along with it. I seriously will not be doing any off-roading and need something that won’t drive my wife to shoot me because they had a mud terrain groan at 40 mph.
I would like some input on what I can get size wise one tires, the rims are 17x7 maybe 17x8 depending on vendor.
Pics would help as I’ve seen some sick trucks on here and have no clue what tire sizes are working without compromise.

Check this thread; 31 and Done

The normal answer for tire size without a lift is 265/70R17 but if you are changing wheels you are introducing offset, width and other issues.

So I currently run 265/65/17 and will stick with a 17 inch rim just don’t want anything crazy wide etc.

265/7017 C load KO2s. Good tire, silent on the highway and looks great!

Any profile pics? I don’t want them to stick out too much and constantly sling any splatter down the side

That’s the best pic I have. (First one)

I’m running sema wheels that stick out an inch more than stock wheels. I don’t have an issue with splatter slinging down the side, I am running stock mud flaps though. You won’t have any issues with your stock wheels and KO2s.

The last pic was from driving for about an hour on an FSR and some moderate off-road after a heavy rain.

Looks quite sexy! Gives it a good useable truck look with a good stance! I was looking at similar wheels so that would be awesome! Thank you!
