Wired. I have an Apple HDMI/Lightening adapter embedded in my center console with just the Lightening connector exposed. It is connected to the iPhone via a Lightening extension cable. The Avity kit does the D to A A/V signal conversion via the HDMI connector on the Apple dongle.

Based on the rapid movement of the altimeter, my polling rate seems much faster than 3 seconds with a 2020 iPhone SE. Even seems faster than 1 second. I have "Fast Polling" set in my Communication/PID Monitor Preferences. I have scanned the full Toyota PID list. My OBD-II Protocol is set to Automatic in the Communications preferences.

One last question... should have asked earlier. Do you keep more than one dashboard in your designs? I wonder if OBD Fusion is polling for each dashboard I have, even though only one at a time is displayed.

Your export included several of your dashboard experiments that I kept. I also keep several of my designs in the dashboard list, so my dashboard count is about ten deep at the moment.

@RushT, could you explain how you set up the TC dot inside your rpm gauge? Awesome looking dash by the way . Thanks in advance.

Setup a dial gauge with range 0-1. Set your base color to red, then range 1 to green. That’s my recollection. I also think you have to tweak the border some?

I can do some screen shots of the config if you want me to.

PS, I have another thread where you can just download the dashboard and use it.

@RushT, if you could post the screen shots of how you configured it, that would be great, and appreciated. Thanks!

Here you go @jc63. I think I captured everything. 10 pics or so!

I suspect they might be out of order!

I am brand new to ODB Fusion and am working on a dashboard (see attached) to use while towing. I was wondering what warning ranges folks have used for transmission 1, transmission 2, oil temp, and coolant temp. I have set a warning range for each from 195 to 250 but I am sure those are not proper ranges. Any suggestions to use? Thanks.

Another newbie here. I’m trying to import a dashboard from another thread (dashboard swapping thread) here and it appears to all work but then still doesn’t show up in my dashboards. Any advice or clues as to what I’m messing up? I’ve got the dropbox working, put the file there in the fusion import folder, etc.. it all works but the dashboard isn’t showing up.

Open the app, go into settings, hit the menu button (top right), hit import settings, hit dropbox, choose the dashboard, hit settings again, then choose to overwrite or not.
After all that, go to dashboards and you will have them.
That is how I did it.

I’ve done that. Multiple times and it’s still not showing up in my dashboards. IPhone XR if that matters.

What if you choose overwrite or clear dashboards? Looks like you didn't choose one. I think I chose overwrite and it just added the imported ones to the ones I already had.
Also, close the app completely, and restart the phone, and then re open the app. (You know that is always the first step in IT help) LOL

I’ve checked both options one at a time, both together, etc... I just restarted my phone and tried again. No dice. Not sure what’s going on. Looks like everything works, but then no dashboard shows up.

Found it! It was the “use simple dashboard management” option. As an engineer, that one seemed insulting to me so I switched it off. Why would I want simple? I’m advanced! switched it back and it worked.

    Thank you OBD Fusions Kenobe!
