I’d be in for one for a 2nd gen (just because I can confirm that also works with 1st gen tundras... since I ran 2nd gen taco tails on it when it had “custom” bodywork)

The pin out is the same on the Tundra? And forgive my ignorance, but what years are 1st gen Tundras?

Pin out was the same, 00-06 should be the be the same.
Double cabs I cannot comment on. They’re... different from the access and reg cabs

I’d make it myself, but if someone else already is I’ll gladly support them.. because I hate trying to source the connectors and pins (yazaki/sumo moto makes it a pain)

Right on, if you can be my guinea pig for the Tundras, I'll hook you up. I am having trouble getting the connectors as well at the moment, but as soon as I can, I'll let you know. It will be on me if you are willing to take a test light to it and confirm all of the functions?

Would you like the factory EWD? I can get that after dinner if you want. If not I’ll see if I can dig the truck out this weekend

I’ll grab the EWD for an 05 taco and 05 tundra then. Any others you think you could use, just ask. I work for the dealer, I have all of TIS at my disposal

    yea. thats the one

attached are all the diagrams for the tundra. i'll dig up taco later. the photo above shows the correct connector with pinout.

i can say that with the taco taillights plugged into my tundra everything worked fin. so the pinout should be identical to an 05-15 tacoma

r4 and r5 are the same exact connector. just left vs right.

Is there anything you can't do?
He is fast at this stuff

Between the two of you, I'm betting we could cover the different generations of Tundras. Got anything for a second gen? Or a third? I have no idea what generation the current Tundra is, so how about a fourth?

2nd gen and 3rd gen tundra exists.. 4th might by the end of the year. judging by what he already posted, you have up to 2011 tundra info.
