Is everyone getting back to a semblance of normal ?

 

Yes but when it stops being below 30 at night then I will consider it becoming more normal.

 

I've got to admit that I'm glad I had a generator already. I bought it about 6 years ago when I got the house. First time that I've had to use it

 

They already bought a house 90min away (fully furnished) so they left their beds, fridge etc everything still in the trailer. They were staying the night every so often, but they haven't in past 2 to 3 weeks, I asked them if they would vacate the lease early, he said yes, we were shooting for March 1st, but we just lost a week because of weather, and 78yr man only moves so fast and has 40 years of junk/trash that he has a hard time parting with. His 19 year old grandson is lazy and worthless. I spoke with yesterday, and on Wednesday he would come back out and start shifting trash again.

 

morning yall. I had some good sleep finally, was nice to do nothing. My uncle's water heater broke at the valve(?) so I'll prob look at that later.

Hopefully, but I'm gonna give it another 2, maybe 3 weeks and if no progress, I'm just gonna stop communicating the push to move and wait till May 31st and lock the gates.

I also have a friend who lost his job, he doesn't want to jump back into employment, he wants to travel this summer, I guess to rediscover himself, IDK, but I'm tempted to ask him if he wants to be a squatter for a month or two LOL
