    Howdy!

Made a cheap DIY ram track system that's been working extremely well. Most systems that are shipped to canada I found were to be $150+. No drilling required and seems to be able to withstand offroading.

The 3M tape seems to be doing its job with no issues for 3 months now.

Parts: RAM Mount 12 inch End-Loading Composite Tough-Track

    : Scotch(R) Heavy Duty Mounting Tape, 1 Inch x 125 Inches

Pretty straight forward Install. When adhering the mounting tape, I recommend using rubbing alcohol to clean the top surface for better adhesion as well as a c clamp or any type of clamp to hold down the tough track to the mounting tape.

Good idea! I have a piece of the aluminum tough-track that I was going to mount in a similar position. Do you have your track mounted on the outer piece or in the space behind it? Any more pics?

Got it mounted to the outter lip. You planning to drill into the moulding or you plan to use the Scotch 3M tape?

I was planning on drilling the part behind the outer lip. I could do the tape and a few screws though. Is your setup strong enough you think to hold a tablet?

So far it held a phone and my baofeng radio. Tablet, I'd probably want to drill in.
