Well, someone helped me out and steered me to a place that has these wheels for sale. BUT, I still need to replace one tire that was damaged beyond repair. If anyone has a BFG K02 265/70/16 that they can part with I'd love to hear from you.

    DSC02511 (2).jpg
These wheels come off of a Baja Series and I only have three, so I am either looking to find one wheel or sell/trade or purchase a set of four wheels.
What I'm looking for is a set of original equipment take-offs cheap enough to make shipping justified, or even mounted tires if they are worth driving to pick them up. I can drive as far as Salt Lake going north and St George south.
    Tell me what'cha got w/pics...
And the wheels I have go for almost $500 from Toyota so I want $500 for all three or I will pay $300 for one.

Those wheels were not $500 from Toyota, list price was about ~$230-250 if I remember correctly and online they could be had cheaper - I bought mine for less than $200ea new from the local dealer. You may be thinking of the TRD Rock Warrior wheels which I think were $500. Now, that said, I think these wheels are discontinued so I don't think you can even get them from the dealer any longer.

Coincidentally, I did recently find that there's an aftermarket refurbished ones available but unfortunately I'm only seeing them available in black or bare metal so you'd need to paint it to match.

Thanks for the info. I gave the dealership my vin number and $475ish is what they quoted me. Maybe the wheels are not stock to the Baja? I saw one on E-bay for $1500... LOL
Thanks for the links. I'll change the numbers if I can confirm your info. If I can find a rim the point will be moot anyway.

Some dealers mark up over list price but that would be a HUGE markup. They may be quoting a price for the wheel + tire. Or maybe they found that they cannot order the complete wheel (discontinued) and instead gave you a price for the wheel, lockring, hardware and center cap as separate parts? But that doesn't make sense either because I'm pretty sure the center caps are also discontinued. They may have also been quoting you for the lug nuts ($130 for a set) and TPMS sensor.

Those sellers on ebay and Amazon just buy from the dealer and markup, you'll notice those just sit there and rarely sell. Someone locally was doing the same thing and had them posted for literally years with no sale because it was so high above list price.

There are tons of online Toyota dealers you can look this up on to verify price. Many will list them as unavailable but some still have the pricing listed - but if you tried to order through them they'll likely just come back and tell you they cannot get them. Although, there may be some dealer out there with some stock remaining.

PTR18-35090 is the part number (superceeded by two-letter color code to differentiate black vs gold vs graphite)

The part number I got from Toyota is 42611AD031 and they are quoting me $480. They used the vin # to look it up, and this is a Baja Series truck.
Is it possible that these wheels are wider? The wheels from your link say they are 7 1/2" wide, the wheels by part # from Toy say they are 7".
I'd buy the wheels from Autorimshop.com in a heartbeat if I could verify they are correct. I've got an e-mail in to them now with a pic, so waiting for their response.

Find a new dealer, those guys don't know what they're talking about. Those wheels you have did come on the Tacoma Baja as well as the Tacoma Pro (2nd gen) and they came on FJ's too. That part number they gave you is NOT for the wheels you show in the pictures.

I'm not sure what the deal is with that part number they gave you. I looked it up on Toyota's website and it's not even clear on there what you're buying. The diagrams show multiple different styles of wheel. But different sites are showing different things. It might actually be the p/n for the standard TRD Off Road wheel. Which, would be kinda insane if it was twice the price of the TRD ones you have pictured. I would ignore that number, it's useless to you. Google the p/n I gave you and the one they gave you and it's obvious which one is correct.

The Baja (aka "faux beadlock") wheels you have are 16x7.5" +10mm. They were only made in this size but were available in 3 colors.

Another thing to consider is that the truck may not be a real Baja. Often times people changes parts, add stickers...etc and often times dealers or people won't know what they have when they are selling them. You can look up your VIN here to confirm the trim level and options packages: https://www.toyota.com/owners/my-vehicle/vehicle-specification

Kinda cool that link you found to the bare metal refurbished ones. There was a company making a replica of these wheels recently, but I believe they are also discontinued.

OP @Travlr if you are willing to separate them, I bet you could fetch a good price and get these sold in a few months. They are kind of rare being sold individually so Im sure people would buy them.

Yup, ran the vin and it's a Baja. I'm just trying to be sure before I spend money and get something shipped that might turn out wrong. I can paint the wrong collor, but it's pretty difficult to change the width or casting appearance.
And I've gotten the same part # from two dealerships.
I guess I'll make another phone call...

Yeah, I've thought about that. Considering my options so far. Rather just find a replacement for the right price.

I wanted to thank you for all your help. Naturally I'm dealing with places back East so they shut down before we could get everything resolved.

Not a surprise. This is super common on all of these online dealer sites (not just Toyota). When the parts are discontinued some sites will show that and others just keep displaying that they're available until you try to order them.

There could be a chance that there's a set or two on a dealer back shelf somewhere so you could call a dealer and see if they can check national dealer stock (if that's possible). But no dealer is going to be able to order these for you any longer.

Well, I got a response from my e-mail so I went ahead and pulled the trigger on one of these rims. I sure do appreciate your help.

That's great! If you have the time please update the thread, I'd be very interested to hear how the quality is on those refurbished ones.

Turns out the rim is shipping out of Dallas... and after a week they haven't shipped it yet. According to autorimshop.com, of the several warehouses they have, Dallas is the only one to have this particular rim without the ring for the faux bead lock.

Of course I suggested that they could remove the bead lock ring from a rim warehoused in a location they could ship from... but they said they were out of stock in all other locations. Sounds questionable to me, so I guess I'll just have to be patient and be prepared to do a credit card dispute if I don't get the wheel.

Well that's a bummer! You may be able to order the ring new from Toyota but they aren't cheap.

I don't need the ring, which is why I ordered the rim without one. But regardless, the wheel from Toyota is $480.
