Never seen Such Mayhem at a hospital , water back and running and now the fire alarm is going off continuously. They are now saying system won't be working till Monday so they moved Surgery Tues Am .

That sucks. Locally, it seems most things are back to normal, except for government operations.

Things starting to get back to normal?

 

Swelling around spinal cord has eased up a little she can walk now at least with assistance because of meds .They are doing her entire Neck on long plate possibly .Other than that IV of dilaudid. and cable TV

 

Ya somewhat. Still tough for lots of folks down south and East Texas

 

Hope she gets to feeling better

 

My neck of the woods, it seems so, but I haven't been out.

I have friends still without water, but most people seem to have power again.

 

From what I've seen on news...seems just horrible.

It's not as bad as they say.

 

Just depends where you're at.

90% of the snow and ice has melted here, most of the towns in my area the water is fixed, most grocery stores are empty and hospitals are open.

The biggest issue area is water supply and groceries, but in all honesty, if you're out of food that's on you. Water, I could see being an issue, but we get storms and droughts here so people should be prepared for a time without water. Groceries should be caught up in a week or two now that the roads are clearing.

 

Thing are back to normal mostly I was out and about earlier traffic was ridiculous.

 

I bet. I'm staying home until after payday.

All the unprepared people and stir crazy ones will be buying everything up and driving around until payday weekend.

I'm gambling on most people over-buying groceries until March and I'll be able to get the stuff I need by then like a year ago.
